Emperoh:

Thats part of the fun of being here u know.
Love it seeing how u diss them Gaynners

Can't believe they just managed a lone goal win over WBA
It was more fun watching the Dream Team than watch Arsenal play.
I guess those boys answered their surnames and really rose up to the occassion.
Its the best soccer i have seen a Nigeria soccer team play in the recent past.
Their first goal was like watching Manchester United counter and score. . . . . OMG!!!! Its was sublime grin grin

As for our game tomorrow, i bet we'll triumph
Just that u can't say who;s going to score.
I heard Berba has handed in transfer request. I can't wait to have him in our fold.
But pray, SAF should flog Saha asap. A la Alan Smith, Richardson et al. . . .

told jackal yesterday that the baggies would give d gaynner a hard & they sure did. cool

@ Emperoh,

We are winning tomorrow. . . . .It's as sure as the rising of the sun in Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
I don't know how people feel we would struggle without Ronaldo. . . . .With the back 4 and the midfielders we have. . . .We are good to go.
Rooney is more important to us than Ronaldo.

Le Chac
I wouldn't know why they would think CR7 is the best
I will  prefer an unfit Rooney to a fit Ronaldo
He is brillant, unintimidated, a fighter and has a knack for defence splitting passes.
But i am a bit worried at the wings though. Flesh eater fine by me but Uncle Giggs undecided undecided. . . . . .  je ne sais pas. . . . . pas de tout

I can't believe Tottenham lost. Even the Scousers could only manage a lone goal over Sunderland
Well, i will need to see the Chavs game before singing uhuru.
The Scousers were less than impressive.

Rooney is the man and Fergie is plugging him where he would get goals this term.
Giggs won't be too bad on the wings. . . .Wlda preferred Nani but his red card against the Hammers is now haunting him.

If i were u, i wouldnt worry about Tottenham.
Riverside is a nasty place to go. . . . . How many times have they beaten teams in the top 4?
They smacked Chelsea 3-0 under the nose of Jose Mourinho. They whacked the gaynners last season.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by joeb1(m): 1:10am On Aug 17, 2008
Yes rooney is one of the most important player in our team. I wonder why people say that without ronaldo we cant win games without struggling. For crying out loud we destroyed the gaynner 4-0 i guess in the FA cup without ronaldo.

Well this is my starting line up;

VDS

BROWN FERDINAND VIDIC EVRA

FLECTH CARRICK SCHOLES GIGGS

TEVEZ RONNEY/CAMPBELL
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 12:17pm On Aug 17, 2008
@joe b

Guy, Campbell is good player any day at any given time. he is fast, more versatile, a good utility player, better agility over his opposition, almost a good team player like ronney but a little bit selfish. cool

so are most out strikers
No doubt about his qualities . . . . . thing is, when u have Rooney and Tevez fit
why field a less experienced Campbell. He can only come in when the game has been won.
How about that?? cool cool
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by joeb1(m): 2:42pm On Aug 17, 2008
i dont think rooney is 100% fit, why risk him when u ve cover 4 him undecided

My men are enjoying themselves, check them out on Manchester United tv,
Can't see Apache for the mix, anything the problem?
Hez not even as sub.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 3:33pm On Aug 17, 2008
I dunno what happened to Apache.
He is not even on the bench. . . . Thatz worrying.
Gosh. . . . . Ferguson should call back Anderson. . . . .We are too thin.
How can we start a season this way when we had the whole summer to strengthen??
I hope Argentina knocks out Brazil in the Olympics. . . . We need our players back ASAP.

Report that came in now from OT said he has not returned from family bereavement.
I think he lost somebody back home.
My sympathy to him.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 3:49pm On Aug 17, 2008
Without Apache Utd's attack will lack some bite and fight
But i hope Campbell rises to the occasion. I hope he doesn't waste the chances Rooney will create

What does the bench look like?
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 3:53pm On Aug 17, 2008
Bench now has 7 players(new FA rule)

Possebon, KitKat, OShea, Silva, Neville, Johnny Evans and Gibson.

Far more better than A$$ bench. Did you see the chavs play today?
I sympathise with una dis season.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 4:01pm On Aug 17, 2008
@ Folahann,

We started that way last season and won 2 FANTASTIC TITLES.
If we LOSE today(10000/1) we would still finish ahead of Arsenal n Liverpool.

Tevez's family bereavement couldn't have come at the odd time.
There is no recognised striker on United's bench
This is worrying.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by presido1: 4:03pm On Aug 17, 2008
Don't know why fergie is slow in giving us our heart desire.
We need a Striker badly, we can do this gamble again this season,
it might back fire.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 4:07pm On Aug 17, 2008
Anutha penalty turned down at OT. . . .
James Milner just handled the the ball with 2 hands now in the box.
He saw the ball traveling for almost 6 yards. . . . . and the stupid ref didn't GIVE the decision.
Deco's penalty was more generous.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by presido1: 4:09pm On Aug 17, 2008
What an attempt by cambell
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by folahann(m): 4:10pm On Aug 17, 2008
I agree with y'all for what you said about United but not Arsenal. angry

Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 4:19pm On Aug 17, 2008
Rooney has missed from 4 yards again.
Rebound fell to Scholesy. . . . . .and his effort was saved yet again.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 4:20pm On Aug 17, 2008
Shay Given is in the mood today.  .  .i'm missing Tevez here already  sad
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 4:23pm On Aug 17, 2008
You need to see Campbell's header. . . . . . .It was like a rifle shot.
Given was beaten but he saved with his forehead. tongue tongue tongue tongue

We need firepower upfront.
