Nigeria’s third choice goalkeeper,
Chigozie Agbim, has confirmed to
FNN that the only reason he decided
to tag along to Brazil knowing that
he wouldn’t get a chance to play was
because his girlfriend asked him to
go – so that he can buy her Brazilian
hair.
Agbim says that even though he
knows he won’t get a chance to be
Nigeria’s first choice goalie in a
while, anything is possible.
“I know that the only way I can be number one is if Enyeama
dies and his spirit doesn’t come back
to keep,” a sad Agbim disclosed.
“But I’m not worried. You can’t stop
me. You are not God. I just said let
me come to Brazil sha, because my
girlfriend says it’ll soon be time for
her to replace her hair and you know
how things are in 9ja.”
Asked if he thinks the Super Eagles
can make it past their group stage,
Agbim replied “I don’t know about
them, but I know that I have
advanced to the next stage.
I have bought the hair and that’s
what I came here to do so, mission
accomplished.”
