Who get time to be angry with a weak being?
I just pity him. Lost control of his creation.

He created an Angel, the angel disobeyed him, then the angel demanded the power to lure humans away from him. He granted the wish thereby granting evil and then warns us not to follow the angel's part else we'll be sent into the abyss.
From another view let's just say he didn't purnish that angel, he just made him a god he couldn't control.

And if it's true that he has everything all planned out, then our existence is an illusion we're not yet aware off.

I can never serve a god that may end up roasting my wife and kids endlessly.
Is it/he mad? Tell him that if he mistakenly takes me into that heaven, there'll surely be a bloody revolution!

Anyway, i am quite convinced that all the gibberish and superstitious brouhaha in the fairytale books- Scriptures, are stupendous lies. I have hope that, sometime in the distant future, man will come to know the "true cause" of the universe.

Mad at a character in a novel? Does that make sense?

My grouse is with people who believe in the novel and use it to practise and propagate stupidity.

I did the net search for 'angry at God' because I have been so seriously ill for so long, yet praying for healing only to get worse and worse that I too became angry, if not rageful, toward God. I felt lied to by His word (which says there is healing) and I felt he had withheld his promise and left me in agony despite my years of praying. The betrayal and anger at getting sicker and sicker before him in tears led to feelings of HATE toward him. If I had not suffered so severely and constantly physically, I never would have felt this anger toward him.

I am wrestling with feelings of, "How evil is God to leave people in agony begging year after year for him to honor his own word" and I read your article which says he basically owns us and can do what he wants to us so we might as well not fight him. Maybe some Christians can die in agony happily and trust God that paradise is moments away. I on the other hand feel he has taken EVERYTHING away -- (I lost my marriage and home as well as my family and my cats, then my ability to even function or eat or breathe normally or sit still and not be in constant agony) I feel like all I have LEFT to lose is my life itself and I have never known such anger or hate in my life as I felt toward God, Jesus and the bible.

I know it's human nature to feel bitter in the midst of prolonged suffering and I realize the humanness at wanting God to honor his word and feeling angry that he doesnt. But after reading your reply to the other angry person, I feel like you are saying... if he torments us, it's his right? IF he kills us for his good pleasure, he is not evil but good?

How can he really have our higher good in mind if he is leaving us in agony and killing us off, I really don't understand that? If he is love, why would he give us such bitterness and strife when he could fix it all if he wanted?

The idea of trusting him is very hard in this situation.

The last thing I will add is I know I have 'no where else to go' so I sense I had better reconcile with God lest he thows me into hell eternally but, it's a lot of suffering and I don't know how to forgive him for it? I thought he was our good Father, and that the bible said he is our present help and deliverer and that he loves us etc? How can it be love to leave us in agony crying year after year unable to function and suicidal from the suffering and yet he wants us to trust him?

Question: "Is it wrong to be angry with God?"

Answer: Being angry at God is something that many people, both believers and unbelievers, have wrestled with throughout time. When something tragic happens in our lives, we ask God the question, “Why?” because it is our natural response. What we are really asking Him, though, is not so much “Why, God?” as “Why me, God?” This response indicates two flaws in our thinking. First, as believers we operate under the impression that life should be easy, and that God should prevent tragedy from happening to us. When He does not, we get angry with Him. Second, when we do not understand the extent of God’s sovereignty, we lose confidence in His ability to control circumstances, other people, and the way they affect us. Then we get angry with God because He seems to have lost control of the universe and especially control of our lives. When we lose faith in God’s sovereignty, it is because our frail human flesh is grappling with our own frustration and our lack of control over events. When good things happen, we all too often attribute it to our own achievements and success. When bad things happen, however, we are quick to blame God, and we get angry with Him for not preventing it, which indicates the first flaw in our thinking—that we deserve to be immune to unpleasant circumstances.

Tragedies bring home the awful truth that we are not in charge. All of us think at one time or another that we can control the outcomes of situations, but in reality it is God who is in charge of all of His creation. Everything that happens is either caused by or allowed by God. Not a sparrow falls to the ground nor a hair from our head without God knowing about it (Matthew 10:29-31). We can complain, get angry, and blame God for what is happening. Yet if we will trust Him and yield our bitterness and pain to Him, acknowledging the prideful sin of trying to force our own will over His, He can and will grant us His peace and strength to get us through any difficult situation (1 Corinthians 10:13). Many believers in Jesus Christ can testify to that very fact. We can be angry with God for many reasons, so we all have to accept at some point that there are things we cannot control or even understand with our finite minds.

Our understanding of the sovereignty of God in all circumstances must be accompanied by our understanding of His other attributes: love, mercy, kindness, goodness, righteousness, justice, and holiness. When we see our difficulties through the truth of God’s Word—which tells us that our loving and holy God works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28), and that He has a perfect plan and purpose for us which cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24, 46:9-10)—we begin to see our problems in a different light. We also know from Scripture that this life will never be one of continual joy and happiness. Rather, Job reminds us that “man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward” (Job 5:7), and that life is short and “full of trouble” (Job 14:1). Just because we come to Christ for salvation from sin does not mean we are guaranteed a life free from problems. In fact, Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble,” but that He has “overcome the world” (John 16:33), enabling us to have peace within, in spite of the storms that rage around us (John 14:27).

One thing is certain: inappropriate anger is sin (Galatians 5:20; Ephesians 4:26-27, 31; Colossians 3:cool. Ungodly anger is self-defeating, gives the devil a foothold in our lives, and can destroy our joy and peace if we hang on to it. Holding on to our anger will allow bitterness and resentment to spring up in our hearts. We must confess it to the Lord, and then in His forgiveness, we can release those feelings to Him. We must go before the Lord in prayer often in our grief, anger, and pain. The Bible tells us in 2 Samuel 12:15-23 that David went before the throne of grace on behalf of his sick baby, fasting, weeping, and praying for him to survive. When the baby passed away, David got up and worshipped the Lord and then told his servants that he knew where his baby was and that he would someday be with him in God’s presence. David cried out to God during the baby’s illness, and afterward he bowed before Him in worship. That is a wonderful testimony. God knows our hearts, and it is pointless to try to hide how we really feel, so talking to Him about it is one of the best ways to handle our grief. If we do so humbly, pouring out our hearts to Him, He will work through us, and in the process, will make us more like Him.

The bottom line is can we trust God with everything, our very lives and the lives of our loved ones? Of course we can! Our God is compassionate, full of grace and love, and as disciples of Christ we can trust Him with all things. When tragedies happen to us, we know God can use them to bring us closer to Him and to strengthen our faith, bringing us to maturity and completeness (Psalm 34:18; James 1:2-4). Then, we can be a comforting testimony to others (2 Corinthians 1:3-5). That is easier said than done, however. It requires a daily surrendering of our own will to His, a faithful study of His attributes as seen in God’s Word, much prayer, and then applying what we learn to our own situation. By doing so, our faith will progressively grow and mature, making it easier to trust Him to get us through the next tragedy that most certainly will take place.

So, to answer the question directly, yes, it is wrong to be angry at God. Anger at God is a result of an inability or unwillingness to trust God even when we do not understand what He is doing. Anger at God is essentially telling God that He has done something wrong, which He never does. Does God understand when we are angry, frustrated, or disappointed with Him? Yes, He knows our hearts and He knows how difficult and painful life in this world can be. Does that make it right to be angry with God? Absolutely not. Instead of being angry with God, we should pour out our hearts to God in prayer and then trust that He is in control and that His plan is perfect.

Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?"

Answer: This is one of the most difficult questions in all of theology. God is eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. Why should human beings (not eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, or omnipotent) expect to be able to fully understand God’s ways? The book of Job deals with this issue. God had allowed Satan to do everything he wanted to Job except kill him. What was Job’s reaction? “Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him” (Job 13:15). “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised” (Job 1:21). Job did not understand why God had allowed the things He did, but he knew God was good and therefore continued to trust in Him. Ultimately, that should be our reaction as well.

Why do bad things happen to good people? The biblical answer is there are no “good” people. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that all of us are tainted by and infected with sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:cool. Romans 3:10-18 could not be clearer about the non-existence of “good” people: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Every human being on this planet deserves to be thrown into hell at this very moment. Every second we spend alive is only by the grace and mercy of God. Even the most terrible misery we could experience on this planet is merciful compared to what we deserve, eternal hell in the lake of fire.

A better question would be “Why does God allow good things to happen to bad people?” Romans 5:8 declares, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Despite the evil, wicked, sinful nature of the people of this world, God still loves us. He loved us enough to die to take the penalty for our sins (Romans 6:23). If we receive Jesus Christ as Savior (John 3:16; Romans 10:9), we will be forgiven and promised an eternal home in heaven (Romans 8:1)

Yes, sometimes bad things happen to people who seem undeserving of them. But God allows things to happen for His reasons, whether or not we understand them. Above all, however, we must remember that God is good, just, loving, and merciful. Often things happen to us that we simply cannot understand. However, instead of doubting God's goodness, our reaction should be to trust Him. ”Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

@cococandy

Your little sermon runs into a lot of problems. First there is the issue between freewill on one hand and God's Plan on the other. Freewill places the individual on the driver's seat and he/she steers her life into whatever direction he/she desires, while God's Plan is the direct opposite. God is in charge and not the individual. So one must make way for the other.

The second problem is reconciling God's loving nature with a divine plan for longlasting suffering. There is no enjoyable end or delight in watching others suffer other than cruelty. Since you don't believe God is cruel, he can not therefore endorse longlasting suffering. It is that simple.

The third problem is that there is a grand assumption that regardless of what happens (life's apparent meaninglessness) God must exist. I notice that in every Christian opinion in respect to meaningless suffering.

Your free will and the will of God aren't mutually exclusive.
Your free will can let you decide to do good or evil
But it can't let you decide to win the lottery or get hit by lightening.

well let me say this, it will be sad for me to pass by without saying this.

The truth is nothing is evil... The word evil was invented by man. Everything in this world is God. When I say God I am not talking to the quran or bible God. I mean the true God, the maker of all things. And Which many do not know yet.

Everything is good. The human mind is filled with selfishness and that's why the word evil originated.

Its good to sick, its good to suffer, its good to die, its good to poor. Its good to be rich. Everything has it relevant. And Nothing is evil or bad.

But the books which was made by man has made this word "evil" seems to be a bad thing. There is no evil nor bad. Everything is good and perfect. It balance the echo system.

And anyone Who is sick need to patronize the physician. people need to suffer and die. But the humans are so emotional to be selfcentered and biased on everything that doesn't seen favor to them.

You have no problem in killing and eating animals? Do you? You see them as normal and good. You even take them as food and nutritious value, your researchers even says they are good and can cure this and cure that.

And yet you forgot that they are living things. have you consider the pains they go through when you eat them? Will they animals blame God for making them animals as food for the humans? Its all about give and take. Everything need to be favored in return. Not only favor for the humans alone.

pest and parasites are living creatures, although they are decease to human but they are also living things. No living thing is important than the other on earth.

Everything must live and survive in this earth. its all about survival of the fittest.

Everything is good for the purpose for God. Not for humans. Everything living on earth is important in the sight of the maker. Its time for human to understand this fact that the earth is not for them alone. And there is no being that consider them the first or important creatures.

Then they will stop this blames.

The fact that humans are higher of a being doesn't make them dominion over the earth. The earth belong to everything. Even those things you didn't even consider. They are all makes of God.

nothing is bad but everything is good. Until the human stop been selfish they will keep blaming God they know nothing about.

If you want to know the true God let me know.
