So, I was walking back from an event and saw this Spectranet banner ad claiming that I'd get 5 Gigabytes for free, If I buy their N5,000 USB dongle (modem)!  Can anyone please confirm how true this is? Are there hidden terms and conditions? Also, compared to Swift 4GLTE, how fast is spectranet? Anyone Please? |

I have used spectranet before but I can never compare the speed with Swift 4g. Swift was so fast and more reliable then cos spectranet always go off or ping time out when I start downloading. But that was last year though. They might have improved |

I did go to one of their outlets on my way back yesterday evening, I asked the frontdesk guy to browse with it and he did by opening a youtube video.....it was pretty fast. However it was a hub device, so I'm still skeptical of getting the single user type. |

It's true.... buy the single and get 5gb free... I recently got the mifi device plus data 21k Abt 20gb... take like 3 hrs to activate...the Sim Not sure if maybe because my is still new so my bandwidth could be lil But the speed bandwidth could be around 300kbs to 500kbs. .. but haven't confirmed yet... Am still struggling to get my user ID and pass |
