django1:yeah he's good,but we should start looking future-wise now. We need 14yrs-18yrs that can go to 3olympics, 3commonwealths, and several championships and be 32yrs when retiring. |

I don't know if it's just me but I am yet to see the point in recruiting all these 'Americans' to compete for Nigeria. They have had no overwhelming impact on our athletics at all. Infact, they are performing at the standard that the old set of home-based athletes were. Blessing who is our biggest star today was not recruited. Her talent was discovered here and refined in the USA... I strongly believe that if we need someone or some people to join her standards, we will need to also sponsor some young Nigerian talents to do better for the future... I don't know if anyone else shares my 'sentiments'... 1 Like |
