after going to few pages of the thread and I decided to open an account on freelancer

got my first job but did not do it well as there was misinformation between both of us but employer was kind


still got my first pay of $20 for starter


got two more jobs but bin asked to pay money before starting.

@ladywriter and everyone, thanks for the thread


won't mind assistant as I am learning

Withdraw $500, upwork took $30. $470 got into my dorm account the next day. withdraw $400 and exchanged for 310
400 x 310 = 124, 000

when you compare this to the 230/240 that these guys use for us you will realize that to really maximize your earnings, you need to go get your self a dorm account.

I have even gone ahead to get myself a second dorm account with gtb. when you have a current account, getting a dorm is just a piece of cake. infact i opened my gtb dorm myself online with my token cos i already have a current account with them.

He doesnot use paypal nor payoneer. Is it advisable to go ahead with him, though he has sent a few $$.
can skrill money be withdrawn in nigeria?

No special strategy, maybe just like i have tried unsuccessfully to get a job on freelancer.
Your proposal matters a lot though and the skills you ticked will determine the jobs offer you will see on your feed.

No matter what anybody says, upwork is 10 times less competitive that freelancer.
If you can get a job on freelancer, than getting a job on upwork should be a walk over.

I have been asked to bid for a 15-25 page book/report. I am used to bidding using word length so I need some advice on this in order not to shoot myself in the foot.

There must be a general yardstick of measurement and someone here will know.

I went to Google and typed 'how many words are in a book page'
And I got this:
