Ok so this is not meant to start trouble or fighting of some sort, I just want clarifications on this from Quran and islamic and religious scholars. Quran chapter 3vs 46 says ' when the angels said 'Mary, Allah gives thee glad tidings of a WORD from him; his name shall be messiah, Jesus, son of Mary....' Why would the holy Quran refer to his Jesus as the Messiah, the Christ, saviour? This sort of agrees with what the Christians refer to Jesus. Is Jesus really the Christ? The messiah? Why didn't the same Quran call the holy prophet mohammed, peace be upon him, the messiah? Confusing stuff really. |

Again Jesus is referred to as the WORD which also confirms what the Bible calls Jesus. And if we say God created the world through his Word, which is Jesus, then we can infer that Jesus, the messiah, created the world. All this coming from the Holy Quran. |
