My confusion is what u guys refer to as an original financial document, cos i only have a printed copy of my sponsors bank account statement. The account is a cooperate account though is my brothers account, I equally have a letter of sponsorship written in a letter headed paper of the company and also a bankers reference letter to that effect. Please does a cooperate account statement a red flag in an interview? Are the documents original? Am going for spring 2015, do you think my interview is pretty early and does it pose any threat?

Hope this is already answered. If not, you just have to prove why using cooperate account. What's your stake there but since it's your brother's company/account, prove to them that the company is capable of sponsoring your studies and won't later default due to annual company lost. And this is why individual account is more appreciated.

Did you write any test at all? If you did, even if your score is low and your program does not require it, you will still need it! Go with your result. The VO doesn't want to know whether your program asked you for GRE or not. What matters most to them is if you actually wrote the GRE test or any other standardized test. That's what's more important.

Doc, first of all what is written on your I-20 as sponsor, family sponsorship or corporate sponsorship? Listen, everything has to be consistent at your interview. If family sponsorship is written on your I-20, you should go to the embassy with your brother's personal statement of account, and not his company's. If in the event corporate sponsorship is stated on your I-20, then you should go with a corporate/company account statement, and not his personal bank statement written in his name. Your sponsorship document has to match what's written on your I-20. Many people have been denied because of incongruence.

A printed account statement, preferably in colour, is fine either way.

Please I would to ask some questions, as a student in the US, if my hubby wants to come visiting in December 2014 to return in January 2015, and also he plans coming to the US for his masters August 2015, is it OK to say he is coming to visit his wife who is a student in December 2014 when he will still have to apply for F1 in July 2015. And he sponsored his wife. And he is going to sponsor himself.

Or can he say he is visiting a friend and not disclose his wife in the US, what are his chances?

well I took the SAT exam in an institute in Benin city which I was supposed to write on Saturday 11-10-2014 but due to my passport has expired I was not allowed to write the SAT EXAM....
I thought the passport would have been for identification..
BECAUSE of this SAT I declined my admission into Babcock University Ogun state.
anyway that's gone..

I need you guys advise
am gonna enrol again this October for December's exams..

is there any chance of admission this January 2015 for schools in USA??

Yes but it's a lot better if you can apply for Fall. You really need a lot of time to prepare and of course, get used to what America really is. There are so many profs here that will help you. In God we trust :-)

Look for a school that doesn't require sat, get their i20 and prepare for your interview, take the sat for embassy's sake, pick a date towards December ending after the result must be out... Go for your interview! Sucess

Ok. So you may need to check out Troy and Southwest Minnesota State University and one other school in Indiana. But the question now is, do you have your documents ready yet? Is your results good? If yes, send all documents including Statement of Accounts and after 10 working days, you'll smile. In God We Trust :-)

If you can write November edition, you can still meet up and you attend your interview by December

Just start your admission process now and tell you school that you are writing November edition of SAT.. They will just be waiting for your SAT result to finalize your application...

But if you write December edition, Just follow the advice of Joenice
