THE SINS OF BUHARI WHO WE WANNA HAND OVER THE COUNTRY TO According to IBB 'Regrettably, it turned out that Major-General Muhammadu Buhari was too rigid and uncompromising in his attitudes to issues of national significance. Efforts to make him understand that a diverse polity like Nigeria required recognition and appreciation of differences in both cultural and individual perceptions, only served to aggravate these attitudes.' (IBB's coup excerpts) According to Buhari "I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports. "God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," According to NNPC "The N2.8 Billion ‘Missing’ Oil Money" N2.8 billion was allegedly missing from the NNPC in the military administration of General Obasanjo when General Buhari was the Minister for Petroleum. According to Soyinka He barred the ports and restricted number of luggage for checking currency smuggling etc during the currencychange. His ADC's father, Emir Jokolo senior was allowed to come in with 53 suitcases. The Customs officer in charge then rose to prominence after protesting and forcefully moved to another station... That is Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar According to the Press He banned all free press, jailed 'em and closed up their shops According to Economists He has goofed on every single question he has been asked concerning the Nigerian Economy and how to reform it. |

All of what you mentioned are merely the symptoms of the base problem, which is that Nigerians in general do not have a sense of nationalism, we are ever ready to fight kill and DIE for our tribes but always shy away from doing it for Nigeria. So what do we do to channel all the energy we dissipate for our various regions and tribes to the Nigerian dream? The one and only answer is TRUE FEDERALISM! 4 Likes |

OP do you know the 10 factors you listed hindering Nigeria from progressing can be found in any country around the world? Even United State, British, France or China experience all what you listed. So don't make it look like Nigeria is a terrible nation. What matter is the mind set of you and i as a citizen of this great nation, which is the major problem this country have. People's greed for excess wealth, is the reason Nigeria look like a scam lolz 1 Like |
