@toyin, Take the 2 to the other side of the equality sign becomes 2x=22-2 2x=20 Divide both sides by the coefficient of x which is 2 2x/2 = 20/2 x=10 Answer A) 10 na. Is this for 5th graders? |
Re: The Educative Game by dayokanu(m): 5:32am On Dec 31, 2008 |
Suppose we have a bowl with 4 pink marbles and 6 red marbles, what is the probability of randomly drawing a pink marble. Probability= No of required outcomes/ Total number of possible outcomes Required outcomes = 4 pink marbles Possible = 4 pink marbles + 6 red marbles = 10 marbles probability of randomly drawing a pink marble= 4/10 =2/5 Again is this for 6th grade? |

How about this simple problem of dynamics. Mass with specified position, moving with given velocity. Given a mass m = 3kg Position r = 2[cos(-15)i + sin(15)j] Velocity v = -5[cos(30)i + sin(30)j] Determine the Linear Momentum G , Angular Momentum Ho, and Kinetic Energy (T) of the given particle. |

Look at these silly children asking arcane questions. This is question that requires no specialist knowledge: A test of a disease presents a rate of 5% false positives. The disease strikes 1/1000 of the population. People are tested at random, regardless of whether they are suspected of having the disease. What is the probability of a patient who tests positive being actually afflicted with the disease? |
