A bus made the trip to the city in 6 hours while traveling at an ave speed of 50 kph. Had the speed been 45 kph, how many minutes more would it have taken to make the trip to the city?

Thats the longest way of going about it.

Just set the denominator, x-2=0 then x=2
Then substitute x for 2,

f(2) = 2⁴ - 3(2)² + 7(2) - 10
= 16 - 12 + 14 -10
= 8

Oh cool, didn't know that. The synthetic division method is easy too. Just didn't feel like using that.

Since we need at least one six, let us calculate the negation of this…I mean calculate the probability of not getting a six on any of these three dice.

The probability of not getting a six on a die is 5/6
Since the three events here are independent events, the probability of not getting six on any of these three dice is 5/6×5/6×5/6 = 125/216.

Hence the probability of getting at least one six is 1-125/216 = 91/216.
