If anyone knows Mokola very well, there's a place called 'ori oke' (mountain top.) site location is very close by. |

We have an existing building. It doesn't fit into our new plans and so we have to bring it down! Picture 1 shows the excavator drawing the 'first blood'. Prior to these, area boys from all streets around Mokola have been settled. Cost running into more than 100,000 naira.

KolaShangOne: It's ridiculous we have to settle these "Area Boys" everywhere to do anything... we have no law in Nigeria. Do you still have to settle "Omo-Onile" too? Hajji M. 1 Like |

What's the difference between "area boys" and "omo onile"? How can you avoid one or the other in Ibadan? Congratulations and good luck on the new project. I might stop by. Don't worry I won't ask you to settle me ![]() |
Re: Construction Diary: Building a Duplex on the Rocks. by mufutau55(m): 10:01pm On Jan 05, 2015 |
CityNG: "Omo Onile" are the families members that owned that land... Area Boys... just like their name says are the "THUGS" in the neighborhood who will disrupt your work anytime... only in Nigeria! Hajji M. |

dudubody: Hello dudubody the 350k for workman is too high . I just did mine yesterday in Ibadan and its as big as yours may be even bigger ( 3 units of 2 beds and 2 toilets each with dinning and storage ) and I paid well less for the labour force I can give u the contact to the front man who handled that part of the project am sure u will pay far far less for sure. Just contact me through this email ( seye4life2003@yahoo.com) |
