Boko Haram: Cameroon Vows To Totally Wipeout Sect by Rikidony(m): 11:15pm On Oct 13, 2014
Barely 2 days after some Cameroonian and Chinese
hostages were released by Boko Haram, the president of
Cameroon, Paul Biya has vowed that his government
would totally wipe out the dreaded sect.

The president disclosed this on Monday, October 13 after he
received 10 Chinese and 17 Cameroonians who were freed last
week after spending months in captivity, Vanguard reports.

He said: “The Cameroonian government assures you that it
will ceaselessly continue to fight Boko Haram until it’s totally
wiped out.”

Though it was not disclosed how the 27 Cameroonians and
Chinese who were delivered to authorities on Friday night
gained their freedom, a security source disclosed that a
ransom of about $400,000 (N66 million) was paid by
Cameroonian authorities to secure the release of the hostages.
Cameroon shares a border of more than 2,000 kilometres
(1,200 miles) with Nigeria.

The Islamist group has wreaked havoc in Nigeria’s northeast
zone and has made occasional forays into neighboring
Cameroon.

Boko Haram has been causing havoc in different parts of
Nigeria since 2009 and thousands of people have lost their life
to the insurgency.

The insurgents have claimed responsibility for various
bombings and abductions, including that of over 200
schoolgirls who were kidnapped on April 14 from their school
in Chibok, Borno state and they are yet to be found.

In July Niger, Nigeria, Chad and Cameroon had each pledged
700 soldiers to create a multi-national force to fight the
Nigeria-based group.

Last week, at the summit of Heads of State and Government of
the Lake Chad Basin Commission, Niger, Cameroon and Chad
promised to establish a multi-national force to counter the
Boko Haram militants operating in the region.

Cameroun is the reason Boko Haram is still standing. Away with their hypocrisy. The devil(USA) will use them and dump them one day as they've done to Iraq.
