nateevs: U were not saying this 2 weeks ago. . . . . . All i kept hearing was Chelsea would go on and WIN the title like it was already wrapped for em. It's the PREMIERSHIP, the twists n turns haven't even started yet. The first shall be the last, the last shall be the first. United's rivals have failed to put daylight between themselves and Fergie's boys. HUGE MISTAKE i say!!! |

~Sauron~: Hey!. . . I still haven't said it's over. . . You are just as vulnerable. . . . picking 3pts from stoke of all teams at the 83rd min . . 2 weeks ago we weren't playing with Alex and Ivanovic. . . |

Is chelsea returning back to pre Mourinho days when we used to be outside the top 4? I fear we make go trophyless again ![]() |

nateevs: Slow your roll. . . . . .For Man Utd, it was White Hart Lane, Japan(2 games) and another away game at Stoke. The boys were jet-lagged but they still delivered and took all the 3 points. Ya boys played at Fulham(20 paces away from SB) and still couldn't cop 3 points. PATHETIC!!! |

Chac, SW6 has always been tricky for us . . . and so has Villa park and Anfield. . . every other ground is a walk in the park. . . ![]() ManU will struggle even to your surprise. . . leave all this jet lag gist. . . . I was overwhelmed with dust about how ManU will come back from the "world tour" and the trophy will be taken to OT. . it ain't gon' be easy man. . . Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea will make sure you don't get there by beating you at your OT. . . |

The confidence just ebbs away with each game. . . . I cannot state how important a victory was for us today. Scolari is finished after this. The players and fans don't trust him anymore. A win would have kept us believing. . . . but nothing for Chelsea this season. It is finished. |

If I see Scolari smile one more time or say something stupid like "three points is just three points" after a defeat or draw, I will enter my TV and slap him. The guy has no passion. His motivational skills are zero and he does not even get angry after a bad result. All he does is say the same old boring repetitive stuff about "too many mistakes in front of goal." Bring back Henk Ten Cate! |

So,Scolari has finally suceeded, where Avram Grant failed,to dissipate the Fear Factor around Chelsea.I can't believe I am now uttering the dreaded phrase 'Win some, lose some' frequently than normal when under Mourinho and Avram Grant,I use that expression like once in two or three months. Can somebody help me tell Scolari that he is being paid £6 million a season to win matches, not draw ? |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by A40(m): 1:23am On Dec 29, 2008 |
Another 2 points dropped and how you guys plan on getting a win at OT remains to be seen because a loss and Liverpool might just run away with this title as one can only imagine what would happen if Robbie Keane and Torres click as an attacking force |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by cabali(m): 10:09am On Dec 29, 2008 |
U see Scolari does not have that spirit. If we keep on like this and take the title, then shame on tghe whole EPL. But I know the top 4 cant allow us to go with it giving this sort of embarrassing performance over time. Whats his excuse this time? anyone heard? cos the substitution he was forced to make cant take it! |

Sorry blues. Though I still prefer you to those funny gunners but just let destiny take its course. We re destined to take it this season. The Reds will always be the reds because we'll never walk alone. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by aus123(m): 11:43am On Dec 29, 2008 |
There is still long way to go my broda. The red will still fight 4 their 3rd or 4th position. Its still btw Chelsea & Man U. If u have been following English football in d recent time. So, if u re thinking of winning d league, just channel ur energy 4 something worthwhile, You might try in Champions League not Premiership. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by farochron(m): 12:34pm On Dec 29, 2008 |
Well many said the reds will be out of convention in no time, some said before the yr runs out. Lets say yours is b4 the season runs out. But I will laugh in derision when the reds lift the cup and I can't find two of the big 4 behind us. Watch out for Aston Villa. I never talk alone. |

I cannot attest to the validity of this piece. . . . but these stories are everywhere now. . . . there must be something in them. . . . Roman Abramovich To Sell Either Chelsea Or Yacht Reportedly, Chelsea supremo Roman Abramovich will soon make the most difficult choice of his life, Chelsea aren't keen on handing boss Luiz Felipe scolari any cash to spend in the impending January transfer window. Like everyone else, the capital club has been affected by the frightening state of the global financial climate. Naturally, though, the sting of such worries takes has more ridiculous complexion at Stamford Bridge than anywhere else. Reports suggest that billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich will have to choose to sell either the club or his £200 million mega yacht, Pelorus. In fact, he has allegedly sounded out buyers for the club already, hinting that the boat may be too dear to his heart. According to Russian press agency Prime-Tass - who source an expert in football finance and, for some reason, someone of standing in German football - Abramovich's fortune has dwindled from €16.7 billion (£13.2bn) to €2.3bn (£2.25bn). The giant yacht apparently has a couple of helipads and an anti-missile system to fend off pirates - a job given to skipper John Terry at the Bridge. Further reports in Russia hint at the practical affect which the crisis is having on Chelsea. For instance, apparently the players are paying for their own lunches. The club is yet to comment on the rife speculation. Greg Ptolomey, Goal.com |

Anyway, i am interested in buying chelsea if he wil agree 2 sel it 2 me. D first thing i'll do wil b 2 sack Scolari, n appoint AW 2 run both clubs. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by just2nice(m): 11:00pm On Dec 30, 2008 |
Oh,c'mon. It is just one of Goal.com's ficitious stories.Clubs are not that easy to sell, especially in the light of the global economic recession. If it is that easy, ask Mike Ashley why he has not still sold Newcastle till now.Chelsea is a club that is dear to the heart of Abramovich and I believe that even with Peter Kenyon's posturing that Chelsea has no money to spend in the fast approaching January transfer window, there will still be funds available to buy the creative player that Scolari is craving for.It is very obvious that Chelsea need to buy one or two good players to stregthen some deficiencies in the team, especially in our attacking play and it would be folly for Peter kenyon to stick to his words if we are really serious about winning the Premiership and the CL this season. |
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by Specialist900(m): 9:58am On Dec 31, 2008 |
@just2nice, this creative player u r talking abt is who? Isn't Deco a creative player, has Joe cole lost his creativity, is Balack dead? I hear scolari says he needs an attacker, Drogba and Anelka r they now defenders? Chelski has no money to spend this jan. |

Finally, someone is getting angry at Stamford Bridge. . . . this is what I've been waiting for. . . . . Somze, Nateevs, I await your comments. . . . . Akola, arise from your slumber and comment on this please. . . . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1103313/EXCLUSIVE-Bridge-war--Scolari-blows-furious-inquest-Chelsea.html EXCLUSIVE: Bridge at war - Scolari blows his top during furious inquest at Chelsea By NEIL ASHTON Luiz Felipe Scolari read the riot act to his under-performing Chelsea players during a stormy meeting at the club’s training ground yesterday. Sportsmail can reveal that a full-scale slanging match developed between some of the club’s star names during the 45-minute meeting after Scolari had asked his squad to air their grievances. According to sources, ‘it all went off’ as players had a full and frank exchange of opinions in an attempt to rediscover the team spirit at Stamford Bridge that was so successful under Jose Mourinho. The manager called the squad together for the impromptu session, held in the auditorium usually used for press conferences at the club’s Cobham training ground, to thrash out problems that have recently surfaced on and off the field. Amid remarkable scenes, there was dressing-room fury with Didier Drogba as well as an inquest into tactics, morale and results. Scolari passionately stressed the importance of team spirit and he still has the players on his side as he attempts to win the Barclays Premier League and lift the European Cup in his first season in English football. But key players singled out Drogba after he went public with his criticism of and Scolari’s decision to keep him on the bench when the striker returned from his ban for throwing a coin at Burnley fans during the Carling Cup defeat. Drogba, who is likely to be fined by the club for his latest outburst, claimed Chelsea did nothing for him when his grandmother died in June, but one member of the squad told him he was ‘talking ********’ because Chelsea hired a ‘private jet to fly him to the Ivory Coast’. Many squad members believe Drogba is one of the main causes of dressing room disharmony at the club and would prefer him to be sold in the January transfer window. Scolari and his coaching staff decided to address several issues following the disappointing 2-2 draw with Fulham on Sunday. And, when the players returned to duty after Monday’s day off, the meeting quickly turned into a heated row. ‘Before we went to training, we had a good team meeting,’ said the boss. ‘Since Sunday I have had the chance to watch again the Fulham game and today with my players, we talked about all of that game before going out for a good training session.’ Although the Brazilian as admitted it has taken time for him to adjust to living and working in a new country, he has not been helped by the attitude of some players. Despite second-placed Chelsea’s healthy League position, there are fears among certain players that the Stamford Bridge success story is in danger of being undermined by dressing-room strife. Scolari is under huge pressure to deliver silverware, given the failure on all fronts of his predecessor Avram Grant last season, but the hierarchy insist they are ‘100 per cent’ behind him. From the beginning, Scolari has tried to foster a fatherly relationship with his players and has maintained an open door policy. The club confirmed last night that the team meeting took place but insisted that Scolari’s position is not under threat. Chief executive Peter Kenyon believes the manager is being destabilised by certain individuals agitating for a move, but he is not prepared to sell them next month. Drogba would have been sold last summer but no one was prepared to match the £30million valuation. The season began badly for him when he was sidelined with a knee injury. The first hint of problems with Scolari emerged when the striker wanted to return to France for treatment but the manager insisted that he should complete his rehabilitation under the supervision of staff at Cobham. Scolari now turns his attention to Saturday’s FA Cup third-round tie at home to League One Southend. Brazilian defender Alex and winger Florent Malouda, both hamstring injury victims at Fulham, are doubtful. |

Hey Hey hey! How clever of Greg. . . . This is how it all began . . Chelsea aren't keen on handing boss Luiz Felipe scolari any cash to spend in the impending January transfer window. Yeah! that's what Greg first thought about. . . and then this. . . According to Russian press agency Prime-Tass - who source an expert in football finance and, for some reason, someone of standing in German football - Abramovich's fortune has dwindled from €16.7 billion (£13.2bn) to €2.3bn (£2.25bn) Greg adds two and two together and feels, it must be that Roman wants to sell Chelsea. No credible sources . . comes out with a strangest article that I call bollocks of the year. What a way to end 2008. . Reports suggest that billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich will have to choose to sell either the club or his £200 million mega yacht, Pelorus. Or Else what? . . . . I mean if he doesn't sell either. . . what happens?. . . He'll probably have to beg Greg for dinner. . . ![]() ![]() Big rubbish. . .
