the fans back. However, despite
the hundreds of thousands of
people out there buying
BlackBerry phones again, there’s
one fan who fan who Mr. Chen
couldn’t convert into a believer
— Mrs. Chen.

Chens’s wife is said to be a
hardcore fan of Samsung
smartphones and the first lady
of the BlackBerry CEO affords to
use one — and has the guts to
bring it outside, even though his
husband is out there trying to
get people to use BlackBerry.
“So eventually I said she needed
to use a BlackBerry,” John Chen.
“‘No, I like my Samsung,” she
said, “and I told her she was
embarrassing me.”
While Chen is concerned for his
wife’s stubbornness, the
humorous Chinese who was
born in Hong Kong in 1955, told
people he isn’t so much
bothered. “There might be a lot
of secrets I don’t know” was his
excuse.
