Please someone should advise me on how to get a hotel confirmation letter for at trip to a Brazil. The truth is that I do not actually want to pay for hotel room as I will stay in a friend house for th duration of the stay. It is clearly written in the embassy page of Brazil that I will need a hotel booking confirmation to enable me enter the country. I have checked some hotels and they need a credit card to guarantee the reservation and I can cancel a day before check in date. If I book and get the confirmation letter and cancel, will the letter still be valid?
