Obiagelli: Buhari's godfathers/godchildren are equal to the task. It is hoped he returns the favour at the same time he repays the bank overdraft or through an award of Oil well. 1 Like 1 Share |

Obiagelli: That's what most of them don't know. Was GEJ richer than Atiku in 2011 even though he was the sitting President?! Did GEJ not defeat him?! Even Adamawa, his home state, was won by GEJ. As for that money of an ish, I've said it before and would still repeat that about 80% of the National Delegates are Charismatic People. Apart from my Uncle and other elected Officials on the Platform of APC, I never knew any other National Delegate until today when I was told that a Senior Lawyer from my Community is an APC National Delegate. How much would Atiku give to this highly respected Lawyer from my Community 'if he decides' to vote Buhari?! Atiku's cash cannot save him come next week! 1 Like |

berem: Don't know if you're a sport lover though, but I just have to say this. When Nigeria was on the verge of losing in the Group' Stage in one of the Nation's Cup, most people thought Nigeria would lose because Ivory Coast was playing against Mali and Ivory Coast had already qualified, so they'd prefer to lose to Mali because Drogba was the 'team' himself, and his wife was from Mali. But Drogba/Mali never acknowledged that, they defeated Mali by 3 Goals to Nil, thus making Nigeria to qualify. What I'm trying to say in essence is wife's state, nation, country, community or tribe is not a factor to consider. If you want to still say that, Buhari's wife is from Adamawa State. Does that mean since Buhari's wife and Atiku are both from Adamawa, they're gonna share the votes 50:50?! 1 Like |

Obiagelli: Trust me there will always be Twice I had hoped that an intellectectual like Soludo will be Governor of Anambra and help lead a new Igbo Renaissance while promoting a public and private sector partnership at the regional and state level. Twice I was broken hearted. In 2006 December when Donald Duke was at the vanguard of the succession politics. In him I saw a sophisticated politician who was also modern and can inspire a new generation of Nigerians into the political space and move the country in a fundamentally new direction. PDP broke my heart but I moved on. In an ideal world I know that Jonathan is not the brightest mind we could have produced as President. I know that Nigeria can do better and I take off my partisan hat in saying this. Buhari is not the alternative. He is not worth giving up politics for. Obama teaches us to disagree without being disagreeable. I may not agree with Obiagelli most of the time but I admire the grace with which you present your arguments. Buhari will struggle to beat Atiku. Prepare for that eventuality, grief for a few days and come back and join hands in attempting to elect Atiku President. Party politics should not be about individuals. Those "progressive" ideals that made you support Buhari does not evaporate overnight because Atiku is the candidate . Our collective spirit of sportsmanship in election should prevail at all times. 1 Like |

mikeansy:While I may agree with u dt no Naija politician is worth dying for. Lemme take exemption to ur assertion dt Gen Buhari is a politician. In d Nigerian context, we all know who 'politicians' are. But I wana state unequivocally that our esteemed & highly revered General is not a politician but rather a living 'Legend' Lastly, wat if I tell u dt I don't have a boyfriend to go out with on Val day. Why are you Jonathanians trying to see everyone with the same corrupting eyes that GEJ is known with? Has GMB not being the Head of State before? Was he ever fingered or known to have bastardised the awards of Oil Blocs to allies or loyalists? This was a man who even gave a Multi-million dollars Oil lifting contract to an Igbo man by name Emmanuel Onyechere Osigwe-Anyiam Osigwe against the advise, pressure, bad belle of civil servants( Northerners being the most populous) That is who Buhari was and who he will continue to be.......he is a man who respects merit, integrity and due process in READ: http://bioreports.net/news/the-buhari-we-know-a-testimonial-from-president-jonathan/ President Jonathan in his speech at the World Igbo Congress in Houston, Texas on August 11th, 2014 in paragraph 8 paid glowing tribute to Chief emmanuel onyechere osigwe Anyiam-Osigwe, the first Nigerian to engage in crude oil export trade and own an ocean going crude oil conveying tanker among other distinguished Ibos. “When I checked, it was Gen. Buhari as Petroleum Minister who put his feet down and insisted that the crude lifting contract should be given to Chief Anyiam-osigwe against the pressure by top civil servants in the ministry and NNPC working in cahoot with Shell-BP, Total and Mobil. The price Chief Osigwe offered was much more than what the oil majors were paying the Federal govt per barrel of crude. The corrupt civil servants on the payroll of the IOCs knew the IOCs were lifting nigerian crude for peanuts. They put all stumbling blocks to stop Chief Osigwe with petitions to Gen Buhari not to sign the contract. Gen Buhari saw through the shenanigans of the civil servants and awarded the contract to Chief Osigwe and told him not to disappoint him and Nigeria so that other Nigerians can benefit if Chief Osigwe did well.” LESSON: When next they say Buhari is a tribalist and Islamic bigot, tell them that Chief Emmanuel Onyechere Osigwe Anyiam-Osigwe was not an Hausa/Fulani man and that he was not a Muslim. He was a christian and Ibo from Nkwerre, Imo State. |

from all variables, it is very clear that General Muhammadu Buhari, the amiable Daura-born General will defeat and trounce Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Ndanusa Isaiah combined with a very wide margin. I once again appeal to the future defeated aspirants (Kwankwaso, Atiku and Isaiah) to sheath their political swords and endorse the candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari. 1 Like |

I just have a simple question for the Atiku's money disciples: How many elections has Atiku contested and how many has he won even with his so-called money? It will be foolish of Tinubu's camp not to deliver GMB. How could Tinubu and his team forget the miserable loss when they presented Atiku in 2003. Now there is a candidate with cult followership in the majority of the northern states. |
