Job Title - Business Manager

Duties
Lead the administrative and professional support services required to facilitate the business of Vesta Nigeria including preparation, presentation and defense the Vesta Nigeria office administration budget and sales forecasts; to meet with defined targets and revenue estimates
Develop, manage and expand the business processes and services of Vesta Nigeria; integrating with those of its associated company (Vesta UK), so that the firm’s professional, business and financial transactions are efficiently presented, accomplished and recorded
Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Vesta office through management of business systems, office equipment, physical facilities, human resources and purchasing for Vesta Nigeria in consonance with those of its associated company (Vesta UK)
Ensure the availability of accurate management accounting and financial information within established timeframes and reporting structures of Vesta Nigeria, including monthly management accounts, in consonance with stipulated accounting practices outlined by the company accountants (G Kufo & Co)
Support Project Managers in establishing, developing and managing the planning, control and co-ordination of specific Vesta projects from inception to completion; ensuring projects are driven and achieved within a defined budget and programme, meet Vesta-specified standards of quality and performance and in instances contribute to post project usage
Provide a professional Business Development service including RFP monitoring/evaluation; proposal/tender preparation/submission; contract negotiation/set-up; client liaison and management; which meet Vesta quarterly/annual projections and satisfies client expectations in the public and/or private sectors in a timely, qualitative and cost effective manner.
Work with the company accountants (on tax matters and submissions required from for Vesta Nigeria by the Nigerian tax authorities in consonance with stipulated accounting practices defined by the company accountants and financial reporting standards
Work with the company accountants provide timely and accurate bookkeeping, payroll, tax and accounting input for Vesta Nigeria in consonance with stipulated accounting practices defined by the company accountants and financial reporting standards
Work closely with the Managing Partner and participate actively in the delivery of all contracts and client engagements

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience
Strong client relationship management and development aptitude.
Possess solid presentation skills.
Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization.
Proficient in English communication
Bring an entrepreneurial approach to all initiatives.
Market research experience.
Proven ability to work independently.
