WHAT IF IT DOES and WHAT IF IT DOSEN'T

We all have struggled, we've studied, we've burnt our candles, finished the kerosine in our lamps and 'Nkpanaka', disturbed our neighbours with our 'I better pass my neigbour' generator just for the sake of getting a space in the limelight.

It hasn't been easy for us all, yet we find time to come here and crack jokes to relieve the heaviness in our hearts and the constant fear that triggers our mind when we think of what our chances might be.
.
Yes, we've made friends. Friends of value, friends that share same dreams, goals and aspiration, friends that gat our backs, always looking out for us. Here, we are like family, what I'm I saying? We are FAMILY cos we've got friends that would last a life time.
.
I've been a guest for sometime, watching the fun unfold; I've seen the encouragements, the fights, the love affairs, the ones who finally got married on nairaland, some even had grand kids (they know themselves)... Its fun being here, its fun knowing you can pull a tooth from Adah96 and she won't do anything, or break Creekreporter's leg and all he would do is stare, its fun cos I'm smiling as I type...
.
What if it does happen that at the end of this all, we all meet somehow, somewhere to share our success story and drink away the nights when we'd strain our eyes to catch the last word before dozing or the nights we'd leave our textbooks on our tommy and lie facing upwards or the nights when we plan to wake by 12am only to open our eyes and discover its already 6am... Sounds exciting right?

In life, there are two sides of a coin, its either the head or the tail. Everyone thrives for success, but there are many roads to success.
.
If my guess is right, none of us have any intention of going to the polytechnic... Yeah that sounds fair enough.
.
If so, hope you've made your plans A-Z? Just incase plan A fails, plan B stays alive, and if plan B does fail, heck! Plan C is there. My advice, write a polytechnic as well if the forms are still open. Start looking for professional courses you could do online (for those of us with smart phones, tabs, laptops etcetera) and if you're lucky, you could do free professional courses with certification from abroad. In the end, no one will discriminate your course when they see you have other professional certification.

Please, draw up a plan A-Z cos WHAT IF IT DOES and WHAT IF IT DOSEN'T then you wouldn't completely lose out of the battle.

wow wow wow... this is like the most beautiful piece I've seen in years.
you started softly like you were unsure of what to write,
then your tone changed and u talked about the hard past, then u brought a sense of humour into the piece in an admiring way.
then you went emotional and succeeded putting a light melancholic face on the reader's face
and then u magically rounded it off with a rare and beautiful advice.
