uumm, DUH !!! We all have blood on our hands, every single last one of us, who have pretended that nothing was wrong -- every single one who has taken it upon themselves to point accusing fingers on others, especially those who lambast other people for standing up and doing what they think and know to do in the case. Jeeezzz!! |

davidylan: When I said one of the reasons Osama is against America is infidels in Saudi Arabia, you called it press propaganda or whatever; now you say the same eh? I don't understand how you can even believe what you write. The only reason they went to Iraq is OIL. None of the 9/11 bombers was Iraqi and Saddam or his goverment had nothing to do with it. Like someone said here, if it was about 9/11 they should have bombed Afghanistan to rubbles for protecting Osama first, then probably move onto the country the bombers came from. Even the UK are on a brink of an inquiry into the reason for going to war. I pray we are all alive in 30 years or whenever more information becomes declassified and we can find out how they actually made the WMD and other rubbish reasons for going to war. Shame on Tony Blair and George Bush and the Hague for not charging them for war crimes and all , |

The only reason they went to Iraq is OIL. None of the 9/11 bombers was Iraqi and Saddam or his goverment had nothing to do with it. Saudi oil. Not Iraqi oil. Most of the bombers were Saudis. |

Ilelobola: I'm not sure i did or it must have been an oversight. Ilelobola: Neither am i sure you even have any idea what you write. The primary reason they went to Iraq isnt oil. Afghanistan has no drop of oil neither did Somalia. On the flipside Iran has loads of oil so the issue isnt oil. The issue is protecting Middle eastern allies like Saudi Arabia, preventing Iraq from getting WMD (though they lied he already had it) and avoiding Iraq turning into another Afghanistan - a safe haven for anti-western terrorists. They have been bombing Afghanistan to rubbles but there's so much bombs can do if Osama continues to live in underground caves and Pakistan helps to indirectly protect him. Ilelobola: Which war crimes? Bastage said it best . . . Iraq is a shithole because muslims hate themselves. Nothing to do with US soldiers. |

Why did the US not invade Iran, Venezuela, Kuwait, Qatar or even Nigeria if it was about oil. Saddam was an evil regime who sponsored terrorism and was a threat to the whole subregion |

Re: This Guy Is A Legend by Lagosboy: 3:56pm On Dec 19, 2008 |
dayokanu: Who says so? He his more popular than Bush in south america go there to see. south americans have woken up and arosen to stop the hegemony of the US. See what Equador did 2 days ago deliberately defaulted to pay loans. They are all tending towards Chavez's Socialism |
Re: This Guy Is A Legend by Bastage: 4:14pm On Dec 19, 2008 |
He his more popular than Bush in south america go there to see. Not for long. Sadly, Chavez is going down the same route that all military strongmen who take over a country go down - the road to dictatorship. His economy is in a mess, there's civil unrest and parts of the country want independence. It would be nice to think that Chavez will bring something to the table but unfortunately he's just surviving on being an enemy of the US. With oil prices going down the pan, Chavez has major problems. His whole economy is based on oil. Wiith the weak price of oil, Venezuela can't afford to fund any of the things that Chavez has promised. How long then before his people turn against him? They are all tending towards Chavez's Socialism Unfortunately, Chavez version of socialism is a recipe for disaster. Any form of socialism is a recipe for disaster (and I tell you that as a big fan of Socialism). No society is advanced enough to make it a success. |

i told you that this guy is a Legend,he is even bringing foreign exchange A company that says it made the shoes thrown at President Bush has taken on 100 extra staff to cope with a surge in demand. Mr Turk shows off his 'Bush shoe' Serkan Turk, head of sales at Baydan Shoes in Istanbul, Turkey, said demand for the "Bush shoes" had grown by almost 250%. "We have received orders totalling 370,000 pairs," he said, adding they normally sell 15,000 pairs a year. But the brother of Muntadhar al Zeidi, the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at the US president, slammed Mr Turk for the claims. "It's all nonsense. These people want to exploit what my brother did," Durgham al Zeidi said. "The Syrians claim the shoes were made in Syria and the Turks say they made them. Some say he bought them in Egypt. Zeidi throws the shoe "As far as I know, he bought them in Baghdad and they were made in Iraq." Al Zeidi, 29, achieved instant global fame eight days ago when he threw his shoes at Mr Bush during a news conference - a grave insult in the Arab world. He is due to go on trial on December 31 charged with "aggression against a foreign head of state during an official visit". The offence carries a prison term of between five and 15 years under Iraqi law. His family has alleged he was tortured in custody, but the judge investigating the case denied the claims. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/President-George-Bush-Shoe-Throw-Turkish-Company-Takes-On-100-Staff-As-Demand-Surges/Article/200812415192911?lpos=World_News_First_World_News_Article_Teaser_Region_3&lid=ARTICLE_15192911_President_George_Bush_Shoe_Throw:_Turkish_Company_Takes_On_100_Staff_As_Demand_Surges

Poll: Iraqi shoe-thrower is "hero" Sun, 28 Dec 2008 16:10:39 GMT A Press TV poll suggests that the Iraqi reporter, Muntadhar al-Zaidi is a "hero" for throwing his shoes at the US President George W. Bush. Al-Zaidi, a correspondent for Cairo-based satellite-television-network al-Baghdadiya, hurled his shoes at the lame duck US president during a press conference in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad in mid December. "This is a goodbye kiss from the Iraqi people, dog!" he shouted before throwing his shoes at the US president. Al-Zaidi is expected to face trial on Dec. 31, after he failed to appear for a hearing in court on Dec. 17. Reports say that his absence in court was due to the severe beatings he had received. Some 52 percent of 14,025 respondents to the Press TV poll said that al-Zaidi was a "hero", while some 25 percent believed that he was not a hero but supported his act. The poll added that nearly 24 percent believed that the journalist's act was unacceptable. Source: http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=79775§ionid=351020201 |
