"I started driving because I loved how drivers dressed, my senior brother was a driver in the sixties, he was always neat and well behaved. His neatness and numerous road tales was what made me love driving. Driving has changed a lot since then, now it's like a battle of the craziest. I class drivers I see on the road in two; the normal and abnormal. The abnormal used to be mostly the Indian hemp smoking danfo drivers but now it's hard to tell apart because everyone now acts crazy on the road." 14 Likes 3 Shares

"It took me 6 years after my first degree to discover myself and what I really wanted to do with my life. In that 6 years I was trying my hand on different things but never found fulfillment in any of them till the day I dropped my kids off at school then spent the entire day helping and talking to the pupils in the school. Nobody sent me to do it but it made me happy and I knew that was it. The next step for me was to get a degree in Psychology education. The people around me did not understand why I would abandon my first degree in chemistry for that but I found fulfillment in mentoring and helping kids and that's all that mattered to me." 21 Likes 6 Shares

Mubarak1:I will recommend Nikon 5100 or Canon 600d(T3i) or you could go for the Nikon D7000 it has more features and it's the best midrange camera I've used. Go to snapsort(.)com and compare the features side by side. |

Aspireahead:I know why you said it's odd lol the best way to enjoy photography is to shoot what you love. I started my photography with sports because I have great passion for football and it was naturally the first thing that came to mind when my budding photography interest kicked in. You are on the right track bro... Will give you a comprehensive answer to your question soon but one thing you need to know is... It's not about the camera or number of gears you have, it helps but your eye is what is going to make the difference. 1 Like |

I feel like I'm the one holding myself back from achieving greatness, I don't work as hard as I should and I have this problem of consistency, I might get excited over something, start it then abandon it halfway. 13 Likes 2 Shares

"My first dog died when I was 8, when she died, I got candles, called my family and friends together and held a small funeral for her. I spent days crying and mourning her and my people thought it was unusual for an 8 year old boy to have such an emotional connection for a dog but what they didn't know was that Bruno was not just a dog to me, she was my best friend, always obeyed me and was always there to listen to me, the only thing she didn't do was talk." 8 Likes 4 Shares

"We met last year, I was walking around with a friend when I heard someone playing a really nice song with a guitar and I left my friend and moved closer to the spot she was in. I was instantly captivated by her soulful singing and I stood there for a while then later joined in the singing uninvited. We connected instantly and I'm sure people that saw us singing that day would think we were a group. She is my biggest motivation, makes me want to work hard and put in more effort and has made me better all round since we met." 24 Likes 5 Shares

"Life is more fun in Douala than here, it seems people are too busy in Lagos. I also noticed minerals and other drinks are 'water water' here, in Douala it's thicker. *HOL* What do you miss most about Douala? Our music. I knew about Psquare, David O, 2face etc before I came here because people play their songs back home but here no one plays Cameroonian songs and I miss them so bad." 6 Likes 1 Share

"Buhari went to Jagaban's house and first thing he asked him was if he sold cars and he said no. why can't Jagaban give me key to one of his cars and say take this one and hustle? The only thing rich men know is tell their people to say Oga is not around. I entered state house one day to see Fashola but they told me he was not not around. *HOL* Why did you want to see Fashola? I like Fashola a lot, he is the best governor ever. I just wanted to tell him his road extension people destroyed my shop but they told me he wasn't around but I know he was inside." 11 Likes 3 Shares

Great thread boss TochiPhotos *thumbs up* Found this early today and was glued to my phone all day, sent your links to friends and invited some to like the Facebook page... Been so captivating. Congrats on the Vivian account breakthrough, though she lost the battle, God knows best.... I could go on. I don't know if you can post some in Pidgin English then the British English translation will follow (I guess some people respond in pidgin), I think it may increase the 'Nigerian flavour/ feel'. Thanks for your time, energy and resources. God bless you plenty. 9 Likes |
