I applied for my parents visit visa July 2022 and till now nothing.

Today, I checked the application the portal and in that part where you usually can see the application you submitted, there is nothing there. All I saw is no data available in table like I didn't submit any application.


Please has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know what I can do?

I responded to your mail but not sure why it keeps bouncing back as undelivered. I saw your reminder mail and responded again but still bounced back. Maybe you check your mail or use another e-mail.

This is not true, I applied for my parents in sept and up till now no visa. They had US, UK and shenghen visa.

Guess what, I also applied for my Mother in law on the same date in sept, fresh passport without any travel history and she already got her PPR in December.

Just trying to tell you that there’s no hard and fast rule with IRCC, no two applications are treated the same.

Hello wonderful people of this forum,

I am in a bit of a heckle here, my dads TRV was applied for may 2022 and was approved dec 2022. However, the email wasnt checked up (due to him receiving medicals) until last week and we saw the passport request.
The request letter clearly stated 30 days which elapsed on December 2022 , what can we do this address this situation and What are our options
?

You can submit it by yourself go between 8am -10am on Monday to Friday

Hi Everyone, and thanks for this thread, it has helped a whole lot! Just to drop my application story in case it helps someone. I applied with my husband on the 30th of July 2022, and applied for my parents on the 11th of September, 2022. Nothing has changed about our application till date, but my parents got a PPR today 17th January 2023. There's obviously no method to the application process apart from just to apply and wait your turn, whenever that would be. Also a quick question, how long has it taken you guys to get your passports back after submitting, cuz they have a US trip scheduled soon, and we need to be sure they'll have their passports back before then. Fingers crossed, all the best to everyone!

Yea, it's weird. I got the same issue when I checked mine this morning.

My parents applied for their visitors visa same day but my mum got her visa on 17th December 2022 while they're yet to request for my dad's passport. Pls what could be delaying the whole thing. They're meant to travel together but my mum is still waiting for him to get his visa.

application was probably allocated to different officers. Chill for them

You will also need to arrive there before 10am if you choose to collect your passport in person.

Not sure but mine took 19 working days, including the days I went to VFS to submit and to pick up. (I didn't count weekends and public holidays.)
