The problem with dualism is the zero-sum theory. For every right, there has to be a wrong. For every man, there has to be a woman (i guess hermaphrodites cease to exist). Even if heaven exists, why does there have to be an hell. Why can't a middle ground exist.

Umm maybe because was a mortal monk who founded Buddhism in his quest for the "truth". Buddhism as founded by Buddha has no Gods but man preparing himself for the next journey past earth to meet his/her ancestors. Buddha hasn't being deified unlike Jesus.
