The Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, has
said public schools throughout the country will remain in
session during the February 14 and 28 elections.
Shekarau said this in Abuja on Monday after a meeting with
the state commissioners for education.

I thought the education minister was a teacher before. Atleast by this time, pupils in every both lower and higher institutions are meant to be with their parents . Government has No security provision for the students, yet they want them to remain in school. Who knows what would happen during and after the election?
