All those chech(churc)....meder (mother) moshin (motion) are the correct pronunciations. The language is english and not native to any of us in Nigeria.

Who told u that? They are not better anything, We are on the same page. Naija is wrong to one extreme side and Ghana is wrong to the other extreme side. How can u say the ghanahian pronunciation is correct? Simple question, lets say u might never have been to either the UK or North America before, but at least u watch Hollywood movies right?. Do those white folks u see in the movie speak like Ghanhians? Do they say pastar or chech?

Let me break it down for u. Lets use CHURCH as example here.
Nigerian, Chuch or Chawch---- Ghana Chech neither is correct cos when u pronounce church u put stress on the middle syllable cos it has an R in it more like Ch-urr-ch. But from both Chuch and Chech there is no R stress on the syllable when the word is pronounced. So what u will have is Chu'ch for Naija or Che'ch for Ghana. Any native speaker will never think such is close unless the ones that have been having African friends

What most people don't know, (even many living abroad) is that native English speakers most of the time, strive to understand u when u speak ur Naija or Ghana accent not word by word but by context. So when u are neatly dressed holding ur bible on a sunday morning and u say "hey friend em going to chech" well, u are already looking like u are going to church so he can quickly conclude that u must mean "church" when u said chu'ch or che'ch.

Interestingly, i can relate with your analysis and the analogies in between. I know a whole lot about accents especially as they affect different parts of the UK (North, South, etc).

Perhaps you are right about both nations being on different extremes. It is maybe the drawl that appears half accentuated in Ghanian usage and none in Nigerian context that seemed to tilt my views. In all, i think i agree with you.
