aril:for wat you are asking exactly u need a domiciliary acct to run a dollar acct..... The Answer I replied to is just for Internet banking and transactions |
Re: Monitoring Dollar Rate Ourselves (CLOSELY) by Mizzzbeee(f): 10:38am On Jul 23, 2015 |
4bobo:this Internet banking you r referring to is online transactions rite....? Cuz u can use GTB savings master card for online purchase too |
Re: Monitoring Dollar Rate Ourselves (CLOSELY) by Nobody: 10:56am On Jul 23, 2015 |
Mizzzbeee:YES sis, but it wont go thru unless you transfer the money to current account. So what i do normally is transfer any cash i wish to transact from savings to current and do the transaction. But their rate is getting high ,so i need cheaper rate. Thats why i need assistance on STANBIC IBTC may be their own differs from gtb. I still notice that my last transaction on GTB , i was billed around $225 but when i withdraw cash from my forex broker back to my account, this thieves used exchange rates of around 197naira/dollar to deposit the money in naira ,despite my fx broker never collect money for transaction. So they sold to me around 225 naira They bought from me around 197 naira. Thieves.. 1 Like |

It would seem that this thread has derailed from it's original objective which is "monitoring dollar rates". It's been a while since anyone posted any rates. I got an offer today from my dealer in Abuja to Buy $12,000 off me at 239. I usually transfer from my account to his and then he pays me. I have a counter offer from another dealer in VI Lagos for a cash exchange at 241. Both offers were made at 10 am this morning. I have been monitoring this thread in the hope that I can get a rate at which to negotiate with both dealers for a better offer, unfortunately nothing has come up from here so far. 1 Like |
