10 Most Underrated Artiste In Nigeria by Daraloyee: 2:23pm On Mar 05, 2015 |
Emma Tallest Daraloye Most Underated Artiste in Nigeria. The Nigeria Music Industry is gradually developing by the day, we have move from the Remedies, Maintain era etc to the whizkid, Dbanj era. Many thanks to 2face for bringing the needed hype about the music industry with is classic African Queen in 2005. We have thousands of stars in the music industry, some are shining, some are fadding, in this write up, i will list out Ten most Underatted Nigeria artiste. 1.Solid star: The One in a million crooner is a guy i expected to have become one of the creme de lacreme in the music industry but he is not. After his hit single one in a million featuring the Legendary 2face Idibia, this dude has not be consistent like i expected. 2.May D: I can hear someone saying His Mr.May D, yes, it is, May D is one of the few underrated artiste in Nigeria, since he left PSquare's Owned Square record two years ago, Mr. May D has been struggling. Sometimes i think he dance more than singing. 3.Shaydee: This RnB singer is more or less static in his career, when Wizkid left EME two years ago, i expected Mr.W to push this guy into stardom but he hasnt. Truth must be told, Shaydee is a good vocalist but he is in the Wrong record Label. 4.Base One: Just like Baba Hafusa once said, Ibile lon jawo, Base One is a good rapper, street to the core, he is know for his signature tone ''Werey re oh'' ever since i listen to his debut single, titled Werey re oh, the guy has been all over me, forget Reminisnce or Olamide, this is the Big thing after Dagrin. 5: Shina Rambo: The Yankee boy with the Niaja swagg, ever since Davido relocated to Nigeria About five years ago or thereabout, Shina Rambo have been Living under his shadow, he need to move on, come out of your shell. I have listen to some of his single, he is a best, he killed most of the track, sometime he sound foreigh though, somebody should tell him, this is Nigeria not USA. 6: Eva: Eva is one of the finest Naija female Rapper, the first time i heard about this Artiste was in 2010 in Cartaiar's Owo ati swagga remix, ever since then i havent have enough of her, she is good, Punchline, metaphor, word play, just name it. 7.Jaywon: The Mandatin crooner has not been living up to expectation since the release of his debut single titled fi lebe feat slizzy E. Jaywon is good no doubt about that, have heard him take up some hook for the Late Goldie Harvie. He should find the right channel for his music. 8. Seriki: The Self-Styled Small Jagaban is also good, seriki is a good rapper(street incline though) i think he use more of vulgar word in his rap line, check out Agbalumo if you have a doubt about that. He should infux a little bit of english into his rap so as to meet a larger audience, also, he need to shoot quality video for his song. 8: Waje: Her self-titled first album 'Word arent Just Enough' was a fluke no thank to lack of promotion and poor management. That said and done, you still cant take her talent away her, Waje is a good Vocalist, let me remind your memory, she took the hook for Psquare' s Do Me. 10. Jesse Jargz: i heard someone saying Jargo, you are definately right, Jargz is one of the most Underrated Nigeria Artiste, his rap line is more like a Poem. Listen to his debut album Jagz of all trade, Thy Nation Vol.1 and the his last album released last year tiled the royal Niger Company. The artistes i have made mention are not really in where they ought to be. They might blow one day, who knows? |

Especially jesse jagz you hear a lot of praises abt his punch lines and how good he is but you can hardly see his track on itunes or even on most free naija music download sites...hmmmm even the controversial modenine is well respected than jagz..yet they will say jagz is a better rapper than modenine and vector combined...for he is a good rapper but his problem might ne poor promotion and management 1 Like |
