Adamawa Now Free Of Boko Haram — Nigerian Army by Nobody: 8:56pm On Mar 12, 2015
The Nigerian Military on Thursday said that it has recaptured Madagali in Adamawa State from Boko Haram insurgents.

In a tweet by the Defence Headquarters, the Army authorities said troops succeeded in clearing terrorists out of Madagali, the last of places held by the terrorists in Adamawa.

Earlier, the Nigerian military had expressed optimism that its operations to clear the north east of Boko Haram insurgents would soon be achieved.

Spokesman for the military, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, gave the assurance while speaking with journalists after a tour of major towns recaptured from the insurgents by the military.

He said a large number of communities in the north east have been cleared of the insurgents and the remaining would soon be recovered by the Nigerian troops.

I hope they can hold all the towns retaken by the Army

what is the rule of engagement of the 8000 troops sent by the AU. These troops should be used to secure towns retaken within Nigeria and help keep the peace
