Stormtrooper11: This is a report from CAG a civilian audit body who is empowered by constitution like the judiciary & they audit everything . The CAG report exposed the IA sabotage of Arjun Funnily drdo had to install a black box to prevent it ( like in a airplane ) Do you think army would expose & publish their own fuckery and deliberate sabotage of indigenous platforms ? That's your personal opinion, Arjun had nothing to do with leopard 2 except that during the earliest days Germans were hired as consultants before being fired , similarities are coincidental considering the tank went through various design ( exterior looks ) changes You even compared Arjun to Vickers MBT 2 Likes |

Nemesis4you: Damn. Wow. Wasn't specific. Nope. They won't. Actually, during the early development stages of the Arjun tank, the company which was involved in the leopard 2 development was consulted. They are few similarities tho between both tanks. My bad. I mixed stuff up with the Vijayanta MBT. |

youghs: Yes everyone knows I wrote about it in technical thread ( Arjun sabotage ) previously I can write in details about this and many other systems which were sabotaged either directly or indirectly either for money or political patronage etc but thing is bro best not to wash dirty linen outside , I hope you understand Long story short It's a ecosystem of sabotage multiple players working together military, bureaucrats, politicians, media, arms dealers, fixers, foreign countries ( majority friendly countries ) etc 2 Likes |

Roan77: I don't believe German operated Leopard tanks are overrated. In as much that I feel that the Abrams and Leopard tanks ain't the best tanks in the world, I do believe they both rank high in having the highest tank protection. Leopard 2 tanks failed in Syria because of the mode of deployment of the tanks by the Turkish Army. Every modern tank is vulnerable. Especially against systems like the Javelin ATMG and AT 5 ATGM. The AT 5 was used by ISIS in Syria against Militaries. In fact, they were responsible for some of the destroyed tanks, including Turkish M60 Patton tanks. Other techniques employed by the insurgents include : VBIEDS and mines. I am of the opinion that, the Leopard tanks of the Turkish army are stripped down versions. |

Stormtrooper11: Turkey uses the leopard 2, but not the leopard 2a7....I think they use leopard 2a4 , they had wanted to upgrade it, so that it can handle challenges in Syria better, but Merkel refused, because of the Kurdish people. |

A community in Benue state came under heavy attack from unknown gunmen with the assailants killing no fewer than seven persons. According to reports, the gunmen lunched the attack on Tor Donga in Katsina-Ala Local Government area of the State. During the attack, the gunmen killed five other people including a Catholic priest identified as Rev. Fr. Ajoko Micheal of St. John’s Parish Kasar and an Igbo woman, were injured. In the attack that occurred on Thursday evening, November 18, Four members of the recently formed Benue Community Volunteer Guards were among the seven killed. The deceased security operatives have been identified as Tersoo Nyamkem, Ornyar Kwaghtagher, Ortwer Vendagough and Iorzua Joseph Denen. Others include, Oryina Orhirga, Saidu Ado (a vulcanizer) and a young man in the vehicle with Rev. Fr. Ajoko. Confirming the incident in a statement, the chairman of Katsina-Ala Local Government, Alfred Atera said the gunmen were local bandits who were remnants of the Azonto group. He stated: “Bandits came to Tor Donga yesterday (Thursday) evening and killed seven persons. They killed Volunteer Guards members, injured two of them, then killed some other persons too on their way as they shot sporadically.” “Five injured persons are in the hospital including a Reverend father from Mbatseer who was going to Tor Donga. They met him (Catholic Priest), shot at him and killed the person in the car with him. The incident happened between 5 pm and 5:30 pm “They (the attackers) are the final remminants of Azonto army because the volunteer guards said they saw one Sonter who was driving the car that they came in with. The volunteer guards blocked the road when they saw them but they don’t have anything to protect themselves so they ran away as the bandits approached. A military source who did not want to be named also confirmed the attack to Nigerian Tribune on Friday. The source said: “Unknown gunmen in a moving vehicle, on Thursday at about 4:40 pm at Tor Donga in Katsina-Ala local government area, forced themselves through the vigilante checkpoint along Katsina-Ala/Tor Donga road.” The military source added that troops of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) who were alerted about the ugly development raced to the area but that the bandits had escaped before they got there. JOSCOFELIX: I really don't mean to belittle you, but you CLEARLY lack the capacity to engage, understand and respond commensuratly, in a substantive discourse. Let me reiterate, there has been a deployment of over 150k soldiers in Afghanistan over the past 20 years. It's quite clear this has gone completely over your head , you simply have no idea. My suggestion to you, remain in the NCO uneducated boot camp. This level of discussion is above your grade level. 12 Likes |

Roan77: No it's not. It's ABSOLUTELY fit for purpose, we are not fighting Egypt or Algeria. Our present and continuous threat that we are mitigating against is rag tag terrorist bandits, ISWAP, Boko Haram, etc. None of these groups have heavy weaponry. Sometime ago some Boko technical invaded a forward bases. Our response we abandoned our Vickers MK3 tank in the face of rickety battered soft skinned pick up trucks mounted (not stabilised) with HMG. There is something wrong with our combatants training and tactics as well the moral of our guys. We get equipment and we ae so quick to abandon it intact to the enemy. I saw a video of Boko with our latest MRAP's in the background. 5 Likes |

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says the threat to Nigeria by Boko Haram, ISIS and its affiliate, Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP), is increasing. Osinbajo raised the alarm on Thursday at the State House, Abuja, during the United States-Nigeria signing of a $2.1billion Development Assistance Agreement. Osinbajo informed Blinken that the security issues and terror threats in the North-East, Lake Chad and the Sahel persist. “They seem to increase. We are looking forward to greater cooperation because the challenge of terrorism, especially of the sort we have seen with ISWAP, Boko Haram and ISIS. “It will fester and it can really take on the kinds of dimensions that may turn out to be much more grave than we ever thought. We need to do a lot in that particular respect,” he said. He expressed gratitude to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for their work in Nigeria over the years. Osinbajo revealed his admiration about how USAID mastered the way of ensuring that there is a bottom-up approach and participation of beneficiaries. “I think that accounts for a lot of the success that we are seeing in a good number of those programs. We really would want to thank the USAID”, the VP added. In attendance were the VP’s Chief of Staff, Ade Ipaye; Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama; Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment, Mariam Katagum; US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard. The recent attack on Damboa by ISWAP was clearly a probing attack. They did something similar in Askira Uba before launching the one that purportedly overran a military base and led to the death of 4 others in a relief ambush. The military should be ready for a full-scale attack soon. 2 Likes |

Secondly, that's a Kenyan woman: you've no idea the F'ery they can get up to then turnaround and screech, "murder!" while filming their instigated chaos with one hand. Many of your brodas are here in Nairobi- ask then about Kenyan women. She was involved in a riot. Running battles, teargas and chaos characterised Nairobi County Assembly as police engaged MCAs who were trying to serve Speaker Beatrice Elachi with notice of impeachment.[url][https://nairobinews.nation.co.ke/cops-clobber-city-mca-patricia-mutheu-at-city-hall-photos/url] |
