let me explain the real crux of the matter so you can understand. Igbos are not the only tribes in Lagos and as a matter of fact majority of other ethnic nationals from SS/SE and some NC residing in Lagos also support GEJ/PDP. Even the Oba himself never hide his support for Jonathan despite his relationship with Tinubu and its even suspected that he cast his vote for Jonathan too but his issue with the Igbos is based on how they have been going about threatening to overtake the control of Lagos from the Yorubas because Lagos is a no man's land and they (Igbos) not only form are 70% of Lagos population but they deserve to be at the driving seat of Lagos administration which no sensible traditional ruler will tolerate.


They are basing their claim on Lagos been a former FCT but imagine if their is no responsible government in Lagos and all those infrastructures built since that time are not been properly maintained, will anyone be proud to associate themselves with Lagos? People are rushing to Lagos because their is enable environment created by the government and the hospitality of the indigens but should the stakeholders open their eyes and allow the enable environment to be bastardized? Of what use will the federal ports be if the state govt has not been providing enabling infrastructures, providing security. Personnel all the neede support even though they are federal agencies? Maintaining healthy environment for all? Will anybody be proud to do business in Lagos without all this things in place? The PDP led FG govt abandoned Lagos for the past 15years without any major assistance despite the state housing different people from all the states of the federation and instead of assisting Lagos state, the FG is currently owing her about #51b and the Igbos are insisting on helping to install a PDP government in the state either good or bad and you expect the traditional ruler to keep quite? I don't support his actions but we should also learn to be reasonable with our decisions.
