Finding It Difficult To Believe That Jesus Died For Me!
Question by Afrobaseyemi
Re: As A Christian, What Are Those Troubling Questions Affecting Your Faith?? by Hawlahscho(m): 1:56am On Apr 12, 2015
As for me, I don't av problem being a Christian and I'm happy to be one.
My questions are and my concluded answers are

Some Christians call Jesus, God. I don't really go with this but who is He (Jesus)? assistant God?

Some says he's son of God, Bible says that too. I conclude that it's because God loves him that's why He called him son. (I still need some explanations)

Ppl say everything in the Bible is perfect. I doubt that, but am not doubting the words of God. Some prophets compiled Bible and there are mistakes or errors in there or maybe someone can explain better to me.

Generally concerning religion, what I think is, there is one God who answers all prayers. But b4 we humans can get to God, we need someone powerful that's why Christians go through Jesus and Muslims contact Hin through Mohammed, the faster the better. I stick to Jesus.

emm em em em.... Maybe when I remember others I'll ask. answer those ones. thanks

Greetings brethren,
Your questions were some of the questions the Pharisees and scribes asked Jesus before his crucifixion, They asked him "Are you the Son of God" and he answered, "It is you who say I am"..... They cried blasphemy, and called for his death....Jesus said that no one can go through to the Father except through him, for he is the way, the truth and the light.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy spirit, are not 3 Gods, but are three persons in one God, called " The Blessed Trinity"....I know you've heard that before...

Don't get it twisted my friend, when you pray, and you reference your prayers to Jesus, don't get scared that your prayer may not reach God the Father......For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him, shall not die but have everlasting Life.

Remain blessed! Happy Sunday.

Yes It is perfect, because it was orchestrated by a perfect being "God".

During the compilation of all the stories and experiences written by the pioneer disciples of Christ, it was discovered that all the write-ups would not fit into a portable book [Bible], so therefore some were left out, not that they were irrelevant and useless, it was just for equality to occur.... Don't forget, the Holy Spirit guided all their actions.

PS: If you wanna see those transcripts, you'll have to visit the Vatican in Rome, and ask of their " Hidden Archives " ....Not sure they would show you though! smiley

If your asking from the standpoint of faith , then I am going to say yes to both. If your asking from a more philosophical standpoint I am still going to say yes.

Saint Thomas Aquinas's tried to unify the very opposite thoughts of reason and faith (faith is by definition, the absence of reason)

He came up with 5 rational proofs that reasonably justify the existence of God.

Look within yourself, and truly meditate on this question " What Next " .....You know the difference between right and wrong, and the bible is explicit on the fact of there being A Heaven and a Hell....You wanna believe this, but still find it hard to, due to what some people may have told you, or from some stuffs you've read and watched....

Well my brother, what happens to a man like Hitler who have killed so many people?, do you want him to go scort free?....No! There is a reprimand for those who have heard and seen but still do not choose to believe. I urge you to believe.

PS: The Rich Man in hell asked Father Abraham to please allow Lazarus go and tell his worldly brothers to change, so as not to join him there, but he got a definate answer which was " They have the prophets and preachers on earth, seeing a man raised from the dead would not still change them"

Merry Sunday to you!

Is God really against artificial methods of family planning ?

When Man[Adam] and Woman[Eve] sinned against God , he punished both of them, Man would have to toil and till the ground for food and survival, while Woman would have pains during child birth. With that being said, let's begin!

Who Decides What

Suppose that a husband says to his wife, "I've decided how many children we will have, when we will have them, and when we will stop having children, and you have no say in the matter." How would his wife react to this? Wouldn't she be upset at not having any influence over this decision? They are her children too; she raises and cares for them. And so, she rightly expects to have some say in matters which concern her children, especially in their very conception and birth.
And if a wife said the same to her husband, what would his response be? Would he not also be upset at having no role to play in decisions about the number of their children and when they will be born? They are his children too, he raises and cares for them, along with his wife.
Suppose that a husband and wife say to God, "We've decided how many children we will have, when we will have them, and when we will stop having children, and You have no say in the matter." How would God react to these words? Wouldn't God be offended at this couple's attempt to keep Him from having any influence over the procreation of children? All children are God's children. God raises them and cares for them, along with their parents. God offers His children eternal life. And so, God rightly requires every husband and wife to allow God to have influence over the procreation of their children.
Couples who use contraception are attempting to gain control over procreation. They seek control over whether or not they have children at all, over when their children will be conceived, how many children they will have, and when they will stop having children. Yet in trying to gain control over this aspect of their lives, the couple is also trying to limit the control which God ought to have over these decisions. You cannot have complete control over something and leave it in God's hands.
In using contraception, the couple is trying to eliminate the rightful influence which God has over the events of procreation. If a couple uses contraception, they are, by their actions, saying to God that they are unwilling to conceive a child, even if it be God's will. Contraception is a sin, a serious sin, because contraception, by its very design, attempts to prevent God from taking His rightful role in the process of the procreation of God's own children.

Brother Jesus Is the Son of God meaning God himself.... The Jew rejected him as Son of God because in saying that he is claiming to be God John 10: 33.. If someone say Jesus is the Son Of God he is saying Jesus is God..

Muslims reject Jesus as the Son of God because they know the Son of God is God.

Jesus when in Heaven was reffered to as THE WORD...He was called the Son because of his humbleness toward the Father and the Spirit..He was then the Son of God because of his Redemption work he was to accomplished.

The prophet did not compiled the Bible the Holy Spirit did so.....2 Tim 3:16. And the Scripture never contradict eachother but interpretation may do.... The Holy Spirit will give the same interpretation to John 1:1 if we read at different time.. But Satan will give different interpretation making it look Like the word contradict eachother.... Now then God is not a Author of confusion Satan is.

There is one God and only one way to that God Jesus Christ the Lord is the way to the Father...

1 Corinthians 8:5 and 6.

5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

You grab? There is a God and there gods so it depends on the one that they call unto.
