I was born a stammerer I have been able to overcome it.


All you need do is take charge of your nerves and don't allow people to rush you when speaking.
You have to really calm down and relax.

You'll find out that with time you are in control.

I overcame mine in 1995 and guess what?
I even preach in Church.

My Mentor was born a stammerer. Chronic one! but he overcome it by using this same method. You can never beleve he once stammered

Good day all,
I am a stutterer right from my childhood days. Ever since the stammer has been relieving me as i grew up, but i still stammer. This year i have been researching on it and found out that it can be effectively managed with determination but not "cured". My advice will be always try to introduce your stammer don't hide it and do a lot of abdominal breathing to clear anxiety.

But me I thank God he made me a very chronic bad stammerer..cos if he had not..God knows I would been so insultive..but because I am one..I don't even talk at all..I am always scared in class..I mean very scared oo..so d teacher won't call me to answer a question..I have tried so many tricks..drank from d snail shell..even paid 10000 naira to a pastor ro help me a get an old bell from a white garment chuch..but all to no avail..till dis moment..

SEGUN, am a stammerer too, i just made a thread on this on health section. SEE is not the will of God for anyone to stammerer. are they not who are more insulting than you, yet they don't stammer.
I believe i will become a public speaker one day. i don't know about you. Lastly, talking about pastors, i believe MIRACLE CAN GET THE JOB DONE. Yes i strongly believe that. IS A MATTER OF LOCATING THE RIGHT MIRACLE SOURCE.

@freestuff, the thread you created, what is it for? i will like a link to it. If we as PWS can come to NL and share ideas maybe the miracle will come. Like i alway say, i make sure i introduce my stutter before it introduces me, it works for me

Edward, You are funny, But you re right. If you didn't introduce your stammering. it will surely introduce itself, if you refuse to introduce it. I BELIEVE THE SOLUTION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONE DAY.

I love stammers. They always crack me up big tyme. Anytime i feel blue, i always look for a stammerer. They provide for delightful entertainment and excruciating laughter that hurt my ribs. When you see them trying to pronounce a word for example "DISINFECTANT", You see their eyes dilate, their chests swelled and puffed up, their necks all straightened out with the veins coming out and their mouths wide open like a mercedes benz drop top and the chhh. . .chhh. . chhh, stammering echo begins to rev up:

"DISSSS. . . .SSSSIIIII, FE. . . . . FEC. . . . .TA. . . . TAAAA. . . TANTTTTT!" and when they finish that long boorish word, they will now reconfirm it again at once without stammering to drive home their speech prowress"DISINFECTANT".

If you really want to laugh out loud, you tell them immediately that you didnt hear what they just finished saying and force them to go through that comedic sequence again of repeating that word in a stammering fashion.

Honestly say the truth, how many of you havent felt like breaking into laughter tears when your conversing with a stammerer? its always a thing of joy and fun, especially those who think they can mask their stuttering by speaking in a fast manner but when the stammering hooks them mid way, chei, the next word that comes out will take an average of 3 minutes for them to pronounce it.

I wonder why stammers are discriminated at from saying the news on radio or T.v? If i had only one wish, it will be to watch a one hour news broadcast proffered by a chronic stammer!!! I know that day, i will be due for a rib transplant!!!. . . lol

Do i feel sorry for them? Hell No! Rather i adore their prescence to entertain me beyond my wildest dream. Its doubly funny when its a chick that stammers. Now that one, i cannot pretend and hold the laughter within. After watching her pancake her face and adorned with sexy clothes and she acts like a stuck up snobbish b***tch, its a major relief to see her do the chi. . . chhhh. . . .chhhhhhhhh . . . routine sketch all night!
