The Hideout Of Abubakar Shekau Remains
A Mirage

It’s been months since Boko Haram leader,
Abubakar Shekau, pledged allegiance to Islamic
State (IS), early in March, ever since critics
have questioned where the Islamist sect leader
has been.
The unusual quietness from the vociferous
Shekau have made security officials to
speculate whether the group doesn’t have the
luxury of issuing threats.

One military source told PRNigeria that since the
Army final push against the insurgents in the
middle of February and order to clear all the
boko haram camps before May 29 handover
date, the Nigerian troops have been on the
lookout for Shekau and other commanders of
the sect.
