Muslim students of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti concluded the Usrah Week yesterday night. The Usrah Week formally commenced on 24th April, 2015 and ended 1st May, 2015. The theme of the week was "It's Time For Change". A formal closing was done with a dinner which was from 8pm to 10pm. Among the dignitaries were; the VC, Professor Michael Ajisafe, the Chairman MSSN Abuad, Dr. Lawal Yekini, his wife Hajia Fadilat Yekini. Aare Afebabalola was also represented by Professor Michael Ajisafe.

Other staffs who were present at the dinner included; Engr Saheed, Engr Yusuf, Mr. Musa Muhammad, Mr. AbdulWahhab, Mr. Badmus.

Awards were presented to the graduating students and executive members(including me ), the VC gave a speech in which he promised to back the Muslim students. He also said the mosque in which we requested for would ultimately granted.

The HOD(Head Of Dawah), a graduating student, Ibrahim Olaniyan and the Ameer Luqman Musa Abubakr gave their speeches. They talked about the challenges of the week, preparations and the response of Muslim students(which wasn't encouraging initially)

The "Usrah Week" magazine was launched by the VC, chairman, staffs and students. The Chairman paid 50k for 5 copies and donated 2 copies to school general library. Everyone followed.....
