Yes Jonathan dashed money and political appointments to some Igbos at the top, but how many of that got to the masses? Abi Iwuanyanwu, Emeka Ihedioha and Peter Obi's votes are equal to 10million? Empower the masses, that's what Nigeria needs to grow, then Igbos will appreciate your generosity to their political leaders. 7 Likes |

He was indeed a fair president-I kind of liked his personality. But a disaster as a leader. |

Not that I give a hoot about this news but the IYM failed to buttress their point especially on the 2nd Niger Bridge. Did GEJ promise Igbos the 2nd Niger Bridge? Yes. Did he deliver it? No. EOD! 3 Likes |

‘’No government in Nigeria since 1960 has treated Ndigbo justly or better than the outgoing Jonathan administration Correction, the 1960 - 1966 government formed by Tafawa Balewa and Nmandi Azikiwe was very fair to the Igbo Likewise Shagari government was rather fair too , Obasanjo was very fair to everyone . What he should have said is " no government pandered to Igbo sentiment as this previous government of Jonathan's " Ethnic division and tribalism has reached new heights under GEJ 6 Likes 1 Share |

The fad of demonizing Jonathan and his wife, especially in the social media, is unjust and uncalled for. Says the assholes from a region that spent the last decade demonizing Buhari to no end. 1 Like |

And So??! He was the president of 'Nigeria' not president of 'Ndigbo'. Who cares how he treated Igbos? He was an incompetent leader kpom kwem. I am Igbo myself and I know how much money I've wasted on fuel these few months I've been around. I can't attest to his goodness!!! Who gives a fvck how he was to Igbos? Have the Chibok girls been found? Has Naira stopped being devalued? Buhari, hurry and dive into that Aso Rock. He was good to Ndigbo, should I fry him a fvcking pancake? 4 Likes |

Please...can you Igbo people just speak with one voice and stop this back and forth? They voted against Buhari overwhelmingly, when Buhari won, they started trading blame and many pro-Buhari Igbos came out. In the legislature the same thing happened, they voted out APC and by extension ultimately dashed their chances of holding the Senate Presidency. Now they are begging for position of SGF. They voted for Agbaje but he still lost then pro-Ambode groups emerged. All these post-result Igbo groups. Now some days back to my shock, Jonathan that tried for the Igbos was castigated when they visited Buhari. They said he didnt do anything and that Jonathan used them/cheated them on the Second Niger Bridge. Now its the complete opposite from Ndigbo again. Ah ah! Now let me make something clear. I am not Yoruba and neither am I Igbo, in fact my tribe is closer to Igbo so I'm not being biased here. The reason why the Igbos have not progressed past where they currently are is because they ca NEVER come together to reason and take a collective decison in the interest of the overall Igbo population. NEVER. I lived in Awka and spent time in other Igbo states. That is why politically in this country they are the most backward amongst the major tribes. Selfish and overriding personal interests drive them and they are not able to fashion out political ideologies, ideas or movements which will harness the vast potential and industriousness of the tribe. Now let the most useless person become president and let him win, during elections when other tribes are thinking for themelves and internal enemies are sheathing their swords in order to work together, the Igbos will support the most useless person because he is in power and because he will give them money. That is the cause of the slow pace of advancement in the south east of Nigeria today, and the scraps you keep getting from FG. Learn to speak with one voice. You are way to brilliant and able for this. On a final note, the south east will NEVER provide a president for this country at this pace because they cannot come togther to think togther. Even Tapa and Egun will be president before Igbos if you are not careful. The remedy is to help yourselves and forget internal marginalisations and squabbles. Do not speak from both sides of the mouth and be more sacrificial and nationalistic. Only then will everything work well for you. Thank you. 5 Likes 1 Share |

kay29000: Son, you probably have an issue with comprehension. Did Mr. Uko mention any other tribe other than the Igbos? NO. His main points were (1)GEJ was fair to the Igbos in his dispensation [soooooooo true], and (2) Attacks on the outgoing First Family MUST. Yet youre busy yapping trash here. Has your grey matter expired? Btw, last i checked we run a democracy here where every Nigerian has to right to elect the candidate of tgeir choice. It is NOT a must tgat everyone shouldve voted for GMB. If youre pissed that the Igbos voted for GEJ based on their convictions, then i suggest you go jump off a cliff or boil stones for your useless beef. 1 Like |

They also know that he was equally fair to all sections of the country during his five year stewardship. Even Jonathan knows he was not fair to South West and has reiterated it in regret. Unfortunately its too late to cry when the head is off! 1 Like |

Seriously I don't know what Nigerians want GEJ or any sitting President to do for the Igbos.... Do they want the President to abdicate his sit when elected and install an Igbo man or what I really don't understand... For Moses sake, GEJ I'd from SS and what has been the benefits accrued to the region... so... |
