I am here to seek for your advice. There is a 3 bedroom in a block of flat on second floor going for 18.5m in an estate in phase 2 of Abuja and a 3 bedroom bungalow in phase 3 going for 20m.

Considering the proximity of the block of flat to town and my office, and the privacy which the bungalow comes with, am just confused which one to go for.

please advise citing the pros and cons of each.

The bungalow is better because of so many advantages. In the future, u will appreciate it better.you can maintain ur bungalow as you deem fit,you can do what u like in ur compound, you can do major renovations whenever and where ever u like in the building. Ur decision and plans do not need to be dependent on neighbours. Your neighbours may be pigs and may litter the whole compound- you can only shout. Please, there is no comparison, the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. As for proximity, will you be working at this your work place for ever? What if you get a better offer somewhere that is closer to ur bungalow in future or somewhere that is equidistant from both? Please go for the bungalow if the finishings etc is at par.
