My tiger generator TG2700 just stop generating light even being running.What do i do to get it generating light again?Is it to change the capacitor(28uF 350v)?...if yes,can I go for a higher capacitor,for instance same 28uF but 450v?

mainly used evenings, to power 200l fridge, led tv, laptop, 3bulbs and a rechargable fan.

price is not important.
i was inclined to the lutian based on the fact there are no fakes, has a key starter and it will give room for other gadgets - e.g. a small ac/washing machine later. However run time per fuel load is very important to me. 15L for 12hrs compares badly to the sumec which is 5.5L for 9hrs. daily usage, and the running costs will climb steeply.

Which is better? I dont know if the runtimes stated are cast in stone. Should i go for the lutian, maybe running it with low loads will make it consume less OR the sumec and manage how many appliances i switch on?

hello prof,can i weld the crankshaft of a small 800 watt generator....i mean the one holding the engine and coil together....that has 3 bolts....so the side close to exhaust is broken due to over tightening

no problem as far the coil is not robbing with amautuer

is by increasing the firing screw, increase the gen speed, i believe this gen use capacitor not avr.

Good morning @enochogaga

My TEC 3.5kva gen won't bring out light even though the generator is working. What could be wrong and how can I fix it? The generator repair guy is yet to give me a verdict but your judgement will help me engage him if he tells me otherwise.

Hello Prof. I have a petrol generator of 3kva Sumec Fireman, yesterday I decided to change the engine oil myself coz the technician refused to come after several calls, I bought an AZ engine oil 1litre I poured out the old 1 and put in the new 1, I poured all the 1 litre. now the gen started smoking its never done it before, pls is it engine oil that is too much

Good morning sir. Thx for your assistance yesterday. God bless you. My small gen TEC Bobo 2500 won't bring out light, the technician said it's not the AVR as he has changed that and still not bringing out light. He is suggesting that it might be the coil. What do you think sir? Please help me

Pls I'm using a Firman 1.5kva generator. I turned it on this afternoon, and after like 1hour it went off. But it didn't go off like it was the fuel that finished. So I had to add more fuel to it but it has refused to start. Could anything be wrong? The gen is less than a month old. Thanks..

Pls can 2.5kva power 1hp AC, 110L fridge, 21" flat screen, dstv, home theater, laptop, and 1 energy safe bulb? If not, Which one should i exempt? With AC and fridge always on. Everything is brand new.

check ur oil level, if it reduce add to it, then if it still refuse to start, then check ur fuel line make sure fuel is flowing to the cab, and check ur plug clean it and fix it back, but if it still dont start, off the fuel line,cose ur cab might be overfloating, after putting the fuel line off, wait for like 3-5 minute, the tske the choke to run and start.

two things are involve here, is either, when u bend the gen to pour the oil and oil came out frm the engine to the topslinder, and get the piston, and by this time when u start the engine will smoke those oil at the topslinder out.
then secondly a sign of oil rings getting weak.

ah ah ah, thank u so much. i think is by God grace, i was born in it, my dad thought me this job, i was in primary 2 then,when i started going to the workshop with my dad, i normally walk a very long distance to my dad workshop after school hour, allthough is was not enjoyable then, is all full of pain, but i cant say i will not go,cos if i try it am finish with alot koboko(cain), and i think i wrote my weac 2005, u all know back then before u will enter primary school, untill will be at the rage of 6-8years, i mean ur hand must touch ur ear, but i didn't have the opputinity to further my education, after my waec, but i know that school i will still go,
that why my spellings sometime get k leg, pls bear with me, i think with time i will be good on that area.

But i know one thing is sure, the nigeria nepa and the federal government will look for me, cos by the time am through with my stuff, no body will get nepa time again, cos with God and me nigeria will have 24/7 power, just with little machine install in their, am not talking about solar,fuel,diesel,or gas generators. let me stop here.
