Hello guys please I want to purchase this generator called peak power. Is there anybody using it or any reviews?

I have this thermocool gen I use to pump my 2HP machine. Gen was working fine (although after a few visit to the mechanic) then suddenly, the carburetor began smoking then the gen shut down. The mechanic took the gen for another repair but after bringing it back, we noticed that when we try to pump , the pumping machine vibrates but doesn't emit water. Icalled a pumping machine guy to check and he told me the problem was from the generator and that the pump was fine. Could he be wrong?

Also kindly suggest a good specs and brand for a 2hp machine.

Please where can one get original sumec fireman generator from? It seems there are a lot of variations and fakes in the market.

Thanks alot,I thought it was oil and I drained the old one the filled it with a new one.

I tried to start it and it gave a gunshot like sound with black smoke

I will get spark plug tomorrow...all shops are closed here.

Samething when switching it off. It takes a lot of trials to finally switch it off. The mechanic that comes to service it says it's the carburetor that's faulty and can't be found in the market. That's the black thing on the actual carburetor which I think is what controls the choke electrically. Any advice please 🙏

Have you tried contacting Thermocool? Make sure the fault is not from dead batteries in the remote.

The part looks like the remote start module.

I have tried contacting them but only to ask for the carburetor(That was what the service man called it) part which they don't have in stock an i dont think they still produce the model of generator. Plus thermocool always want you to bring the generator to their service centre which would cost more than having a repair man come in to check it.

Visit the service centre and show them the picture. You're right about the model not being produced anymore but they can provide alternatives.

The generator is a warhorse, mine has been in active duty since February 2020 and I just changed the remote batteries last year.
