Why Is Buhari Yet To Make Any Appointment 24 Hours After Inauguration? by Nobody: 7:19am On May 30, 2015
On the evening of May 29th 2011 hours after his swearing-in, GEJ had named Anyim as his SGF, and Azazi as his NSA along with some Special Advisers, Similarly within hours of winning reelection David Cameron already named his full cabinet.
Some state governors like Mallam El Rufai and Nyesom Wike have already hit the ground running. Buhari instead has been holding countless dinners, he should get to work please and dispense with the unnecessary and poorly organised frivolities.
As it stands Nigeria is on auto pilot, even basic posts like Chief Of Staff And Spokesperson should be named to give us a sense of the administration's direction.

Why are you all in a hurry, even some useless ops are complaining about his inaugural speech even after he has told us good luck as not given him useful information still people said his speech was useless..

"If you rush, you definitely crush" so why in a hurry... People don't know that too much talk and no action is nonsense...

Just leave baba alone and let him breath...

Thank you.

Yes GEJ made his appointments on the day of his swearing in. Did that make Nigeria great after four years of his administration? Abeg leave rush rush for Russia.

This is a very foolish thread.
Was Jonathan not vice president and acting president for a long time before his swearing in?
Since he was already working with the president before being sworn in it only makes sense that he knew how himself and yaradua were running things in that (jaga jaga) administration enough to make appointments the evening of his swearing in.
President Buhari was neither vice nor acting president so shut up and give him time you pathetic sore loosers.

He should ask wike for assistance...perhaps, to him, meeting with our colonial masters is a better way to start

Looking at the enormous responsibility at his disposal it will be better he start as early as possible because Nigerian Will not entertain ANY excuse because they did not accepted any ecuse frm the immediate past govt.

Touche!

Well said. It is barely 24 hours oooo...people oooo. Besides, let him do what he has to do. We can start doing our evaluation of his govt after 100 days.

I also fear that our high expectation and optimism of this administration is a bit unhealthy. I am not saying we should not demand certain expectations. However, there should be a limit...we cannot expect him to provide stable power in 100 days etc.

Let him do his job! If he does not, we vote him out!
