It is a factfile that Nigeria is a multi-cultural entity where each region (if not each tribe) has its own cultural taboo that is sacred to it. For examples: In Sokoto, people dnt kill lizards. In fact, i have seen a Hausa man climbing a tree to refill a container for lizards to drink thereof. In Awka, Anambra State; killing monkey is a taboo. Interestingly, in Aye in Ondo State, the Natives dnt eat fowl. Please add yours ,so that other tribes can knw about the taboos in your culture. |
