Lmao at this Ijebu wannabe Omo y1bo Op.

Omo y1bo OP, yorubaland is not alaigbo where Anambra claims supremacy over the rest.

In yorubaland everybody is equal, whether you are from industrious ijebus or administrative HQ of Oyo or military garrison of Ibadan or Spiritual temple of Ile Ife.

We yoruba are known, recognise as one
It's obvious the op is here to cause division.
But, he's failed, yorubas are wiser than that.

Why is I.diocy so entrenched in you and shymmex?

See, this is why I say programmers/coders/IT people should have advanced degrees?

Every little thing tends to go to the head of people like you, imagine glorying in other people's achievements as if they're your own, and you are not even ashamed?

The level of silliness is beyond me.

Basically, all I'm saying is what have you achieved with your own life? Being a tout is not considered an achievement. Unless you are from a family of touts, I'm referring to you and shymmex.

What does programming have to do with this? You're certainly retarded.
I can't even be bothered to school you about the pedigree of my family. End of the day we are all here just to fun.

Ijebus are the greatest amongst yorubas, Fact!
Can any other boast of as many prominent sons as ours? Wole Soyinka is from Ijebu-Isara as well. Guy don't hate.

Its now clear what your mission here is. I'm certain you are not a Yoruba person.
Re: IJEBUS by anulaxad(m): 3:31pm On Jun 06, 2015
Nonsense.

They are simply put Yoruba. Whoever made this was looking to cause tension and problems in the Yoruba community.

Yourbas are known for their untribalistic and unbigoted behaviour, so I urge this nonesense to stop right now.

Every single 'Ijebu' I know (Including both my parents) does not share this bigoted view. They are not a tribe, yes they have their own dialect which 80% of Ijebus do not understand (they all however speak English and normal Yoruba) but are clearly not a tribe.

So you created it for "fun" and for certain folks to ridicule Ijebu. And why can'y you delete the thread?

Are you sure you're not that Isale-gan2 slag, who doubles up as ilebatojo, in the family section and her numerous anti-Ijebu handles? I know that's the only biitch that can create a thread to ridicule Ijebus and jump from thread to thread to spam everywhere with subtle anti-Ijebu nonsense. An Ijebu man must have either broken her heart or rap.ed her and fed her pork, saying mashallah after that.

Just delete the darn thread, man.

Wow... a simple thread acknowledging how great we are doesn't diminish the Yorubas in any way shape or form. However, I do understand the animosity towards us Ijebus, we are great beyond any reasonable doubt, there was no need for me to gloat.
Apologies to everyone that may have felt offended by this. But still, I am extremely proud to be an illustrious son of Ijebu and to that I owe no one any apology.

Brev, I just checked ya post history and you somewhat sound weird. I also noticed you're following my two handles. And the way you post, and things you say look like you're trying too hard and also somewhat suspicious. Coupled with the fact what you're doing on this thread is corny as fvck. You definitely aren't Ijebu. So I ask again: what's the purpose of this thread?

I noticed that you first quoted me on the South African thread. Then I kind of famzed you on that thread about big batty. And with this one, you're starting to look like a weirdo.

Like seriously, who are you? And what's it going to cost you to delete this thread? Simple edit of the header should do, unless you have an agenda - and the way you keep following my handles as well is crazy.

The Ijebus of Western Nigeria are known for their industry and merchandise which defy all odds, especially in trading while they simultaneously groom their children to take over.
The Ijebus and other parts of Ijebu-land came into Nigeria from the ancient Owodaiye kingdom of Ethiopia, decendants of the Arabians from the middle-east.

Amazing facts about Ijebus:

The Ijebu king (Orimolusi) was the second Oba appointed by colonial masters. In 1957 to negotiate Independence.

The Europeans found them the most intelligent of all tribes in Nigeria.

According to biblical account, the Jebusites were a Canaanite who built and inhabited Jerusalem prior to its conquests be king David.

Ijebu is the only tribe that has it's Origin from the Bible.

The Ijebus were in Nigeria before the main yourba stock and the ijebu king being referred to as the 5th Awujale restored the eyesight of Oduduwa. When Oduduwa set out to visit the king, he died while his followers settled down at IDOFE.

Ijebus are known for their business acumen, which dates back to the early nineteenth century where a child is expected to have known the value and attributes of trade from the age of 12.

Yourba people are very enterprising but Ijebu have become the movers shakers of the business world in Nigeria, and have become more Prosperous not only in terms of the business dynamics but also in terms of physical infrastructure. It isn't on record that the houses of the Ijebus were far more superior to that of any of their southern counterparts. Ijebus are also noted for their intelligence and integrity.

Ijebus are one of the tribes of the present day Ogun state, they are also found in lagos state . However majority of the Ijebus are in Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu-Remo, Ijebu-Sagamu, Ijebu-Epe(Lagos), and Ijebu-Igbo.

Ijebus over the years have been stereotyped as tight fisted, when in actual fact they are just Frugal people. Another vice attributed to them is pool- betting, which is today known as 'Baba-Ijebu'. However, in contemporary times, there are a new age of business moguls who would eventually continue their rich tradition of wealth, their forebears :

Chief M.A. Agbonmagbe- Okupe.( First Indigenous owner of a Bank and Founder of WEMA.BANK)

Obafemi Awolowo (Premier western region, champion of free education and in- law to the incumbent V.P)

Mike Adenuga (Glo)

Otunba Subomi Balogun ( Chairman FCMB)

Molade.Okoya Thomas (Chairman CFAO)

Oba Otudeko CFR (Chairman first bank)

Razak Akanni Okoya ( Eleganza)
Chief Bayo Kuku

Kensington Adebutu( Baba Ijebu lotto)

Femi Otedola (Forte Oil)

Folorunsho Alikija. ( richest black woman alive)
And many more.

In conclusion, the Ijebus are one of the wealthiest tribes in Nigeria
Pre- Independence till date. Highly cerebral and full of integrity.
Without bias, I dare to say, we are great and have been and will continue to be, a source of tremendous blessing to this Nation.

Glad to see for a change a son of Remo admitting to be ijebu.

I have a few friends from Remo but they never admit that Remo is 100percent ijebu. They make it sound like they are another 'Egba'.

Same applies to people from Shagamu too. Shagamu is 100percent ijebu but most of them refuse to accept this - especially the younger generation. undecided
