PMB said he doesn't want to work with someone with any corruption case...and some dullard supporters that av been blaming saraki now thinks he will favour them.

BLOTRS:
i don't know why some dull brains think that this is buhari's handiwork...don't they know that as it stands now buhari stands the risk of being impeached if this relationship between bukola and the pdp grows stronger

BLOTRS:
PMB said he doesn't want to work with someone with any corruption case...and some dullard supporters that av been blaming saraki now thinks he will favour them.

Are you referring to these posts below my comment? sad

PassingShot:

It's not impossible or implausible!
After all, if PMB actually didn't want Saraki, he could have prevented it one way or the other.

itstorekeeper:
on point dear. PDP knows the game. INEC's Jega was compromised that was why that noble man, seeing how bloody his resistance and trying to make wrong right will cause, diligently congratulated his opponent even while the final result has not been announced. Our president (PMB) will make a good leader as I noticed he doesn't rush into matters without fair hearing. Kudos Saraki, Ekweremmadu. Formerly, I thought South East would be victimized, religionalized and all that, but with these developments, change has started already. Long live our people, 9ija.

omenka:
A lot remains to be heard of this entire episode. I'm not putting my eggs anywhere yet until the President speaks.

I don't know, but has anyone spared a thought to imagine perhaps, this was orchestrated by the presidency to ensure the inclusion of the SE in the bigger scheme of things since they would have been totally excluded had the Party's preferred candidate emerged??

Just a hunch though.

Why should the presidency watch out for the well-being of the SE, a region that totally rejected them? The presidency owes the SE absolutely nothing!
There is a bigger game in the offing and that would be revealed in time.
When did a president in any civilized country exclude a region because they didn't vote for him. See the way you think.

Bro the guy is powerful, let's face it. He calculates all his moves so well. If he has control of the Senate, then nominees and appointees need hid nod before they can pass through house readings. You also know how easy it is to get anybody in power impeached these days using Legislative arm

Why are PDP members here celebrating Saraki's victory Cos he is a former member?undecided.....In case you are thinking he will defect back to PDP, let me tell you this..

It has been passed to law that any elected person that defects "must" vacate his/her position he/she holds.

So therefore, Saraki "will" vacate that seat if he dares to defect to any party "because" he was elected to the seat under the APC.

I hope barcanista, temitemi1, Ezenwamadu and the rest will relax their nerves now!

Saraki's victory "does not" signal "hope" for the PDP come 2019 elections.

Thank you for the observation and this comment. In other news, Tambuwal didn't vacate his seat...

So, you call senator Olusola Saraki Hausa man? Have you been to Ilorin before? Today Ilorin belongs to Yoruba. You need not be reminded of your refugee status. Not my fault, your forefathers caused it.
I actually thought this is the other way round... That's Ilorin becoming more hausa than yoruba.

Well, I don't think Tinunbu had that at the back of his mind when endorsing the Lawan guy. I just see Tinunbu as someone who likes to amass wealth for himself, and help the masses too while doing so. I don't think he is as diabolical as you are painting him to be. But, hey, that's just me...Maybe I am wrong, and you are right. Who knows.

Even if he vacates, another election will have to be conducted for the seat. And be assured that Saraki will win again and again. Meanwhile, the law has been there. it is only the execution that was lacking.

"Has the president ever spoken before? " We keep hearing Garba Shehu speak and term it the President speaking lipsrsealed . In the last tenure, the SW was never represented and heaven didn't fall. The sooner we know all these positions benefit only the persons occupying them the better for us
You could not have put it any better, bro
Don't mind people who are ignorantly clamoring for tribal representation in politics.

How does that affect the regular Joes on the streets
That is what matters!
Obj and GEJ were there for 8 and 6 years respectively, yet the average Yoruba and Ijaw man were in no way better of than people of the other tribes during their tenures...in fact their respective kinsmen don't even speak glowingly of them.

David Mark was senate president for years, but how did the Idomas fair in his time?

The Igbos had 3 different senate presidents in one dispensation.
How did that turn out for the average Igbo man.

Do I need to ask about difference the decades- long Hausa /Fulani oligarchy has made to the average Hausa / Fulani man in the north.

It's all about bragging rights..."our son is there"
Nothing else!
Only serves those occupying the seats NOT the common man.
