Arrogance is different from aggression Bro, Ballotelli isn't aggressive, he's arrogant, tho i don't know number 2&4 but believe me d players u mentioned isn't aggressive apart from Vidal, number of ban a player receives doesn't mean he's aggressive, some are mostly banned because of der behaviours outside the pitch like balloteli, or because of der speech on d pitch, u didn't mention players like Roy Keane dat made a player retire because of his tackle, Suarez bites due to depression not arrogance, Rooney, CR7 nd alves are just ordinary players.

Gattuso was like a wild dog who doesn't recognise its owner let alone opponents.

Coaches usually told their players 'while playing against AC Milan, pass the ball as quickly as ever when Gattuso charges at you'.

lool....exactly

the talent you guys keep talking about in balorubbish is all media hype. At his best he was pretty much average and I will tell you why.

At inter, though he was a kid then but still not the 1st choice striker, at city despite getting prefential treatment from Mancini he wasn't the 1st choice either. At Milan he was 1st choice but that was the worst Milan team in over 49 years, still he was sold by Milan at a loss because he was barely rubbish or successful. At Liverpool he was utter crap despite competition from lambert, Sturridge and Borini (players who are not world besters)he was mostly on the bench

You know why balotelli is more popular than lambert, Borini, fletcher and the other midtable strikers? His crazy antics. Nothing more cos he never had the talent

Bonus fact: in this time Era of plastic football and comical defending, balotelli has never scored 20 league goals in a season. So much for his 'talent'
lwkm, this guy! which 1 b comical defending again??

That backline of Gattuso, Maldini, Nesta, Cafu was very formidable. They bullied strikers ruthlessly.
Good old days of glory.

IMO, Joey Barton is the most aggressive footballer in this modern time.. just ask Aguero and Danny Guthrie....

Lmao...I shall keep schooling you about football. grin

1). How about compare the goal records (ratio of games played vis-a-vis goals) of both players, apart from last season? Balo and Sturridge don't belong in the same sentence.

And he was sold by both clubs not cos he lacks the talent, but due to his antics. If he were not that good, why did folks label his transfer to Liverpool last season a steal?

2). Listen, there's absolutely nothing smart in being perpetually in an offside position like Pippo Inzaghi. The guy knew he never had the talent to cut it with the best, and looking for cheap goals was his claim to fame. And I do like Inzaghi. When you talk about in-box strikers with great movement and eye for goal - then the likes of Van Nistelrooy, Morientes, Huntelaar, and Raul Gonzales should be the names on ya lips - not Inzaghi and all the crappy players you cited. Heck, even Darren Bent in his prime had better movement than Inzaghi. Yakubu is/was a bum!

3). You judge goals based on the quality of opposition and the goal Edmundo scored against Man Utd, is on the same level, if not better than the goal Dennis Bergkamp scored against Argentina at the 1998 world cup, when he wrong footed the great Roberto Ayala, with supreme ball control. Edmundo was a fvcking beast!
everyone was berating Brendan for taking a punt on balo. Seriously arsenal withdrew their bid when wenger realised he's going to be a waste of money

And for your own sake I think you should a book; it's called football for dummy. Seriously you want to compare super Pippo to Darren Bent? Morientes? Bloody hell and Raul was never the main striker at Real Madrid ( get your facts right). For you to think so low of Pippo, I'll have to make my mind up on you.

You're a football illiterate. People will later read your crap about Pippo and laugh in your face

O Spot on.

I used to love Baloteli even more than that guy but if found out that it was just hype.. he is so average that I wonder why Sergio Aguero can't just get his body.
I've always said it. The media loves crazy people cos it helps them sell paper.

Without his crazy antics he's no better than lambert and nobody would hear of him

You're a waste of space - when I talk about about football, you ought to grab a pen and start taking notes. That isn't for you only you, it's for every single one of you on this forum. And I'm not even being cocky about it.

Folks berated Brendan Rodgers for buying Balo, or called it a steal at the amount he bought him for? Have you ever bothered to check his goals record vis-a-vis games at Milan? And when did Arsene Wenger start spending money to buy decent players, apart from Ozil and Sanchez, and buying half-decent French players, anyway?

Err, I'd wager that you also think Chicharito also has the greatest movement ever cos he's perhaps the only current striker that's similar to Pippo, no?

Go watch Morientes on YouTube and compare him to Inzaghi who scored most tap ins from beating the smallest margins of being in an offside position. No player in history has ever been caught more in an offside position than Inzaghi, yet you think he has great movement off the ball, no? The same guy who fails most times when it's time to beat the line. GTFOH.

Putting Suarez in any list of aggressive players shows we don't know what been aggressive means. Suarez is not aggressive only that he comes with a lot of baggage ie biting
op, if you understood the difference between been aggressive and what it means to be temperamental, then Balloteli won't be on your list!
