We should try to take this forum for what it is not we want it to be. Even if you detect some people are cheating or whatever lets contribute to the theme of the forum and stop fooling around , am not here to pick up fight with anybody but just to learn and i believe i have done that so we should keep up the good reputation of this place and for those that ask stupid question just back off if you have nothing to post here. WHO IS GOING TO THE EMBASSY ON MONDAY ? |

Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by wems002: 7:24pm On Oct 10, 2009 |
@ Vladmir, Lets be optimistic, you might get a date but if we are to be a realist, my bro it is going to be difficult for you to get a date before your spring semester because of the season, that is for Lagos, but if you decide to set an appointment for Abuja you might get a date just make sure you do when you get the package. |

@ Punk NL or whatever your user name is , You think you can come here and disorganize this lovely forum you did not help build, you should be ashamed of yourself because you all you want to do is to turn the main point of this forum to your radical views and ways of seeing things, and we disagree. To correct you young and porous brain, you made mention of the fact that there are slot as you type and you did not bother to read the post before mine because he said his package is coming in 3 weeks, how do you expect him to get a date if he were to be on the safe side?, you should also go back to your dictionary and check the meaning of optimism. Secondly, how do you expect me to open my mouth when i am typing, guy you need to grow up and make your points that is if you have reasonable ones. People on this forum would not accommodate your disrespectful and nonchalant way of making your opinion guy you need to upgrade and be humble. |
Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by gongoaso1: 12:52am On Oct 12, 2009 |
wems, chill, the guy is the first Nigerian to get a scholarship to |
Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by wems002: 1:07am On Oct 12, 2009 |
I see, if he already has one, he should tell us about the questions he was asked at the embassy not condemn others or out of ignorance turn people willing to learn away. no offense but you really need to upgrade and be matured cos this comment looks like a bitter under 21 guy. |

gongo aso: Will you shut up. Not everyone gets admitted to Princeton!!! wems002: i am sure you have ADD or something. I started out on this forum by stating exactly what happened at my interview and some idiot came here saying "tales by moonlight". I stand by my comment with regards to you just opening your mouth misyarning. The guy is expecting his I-20 in 3 weeks. There are still slots available from now till December 31st. What on earth stops him from booking a spot now? He can always change his SEVIS details when he receives it. Better yet, he can ask his intern. advisor to just tell him the number via email. You have to learn to be proactive. I may be younger than most of you, but i am sure as hell smarter than a lot of you. I am not trying to brag, a lot of your posts reveal how most of you think. Vladmir 2: Go ahead and book your appointment now while the slots are available. Don't wait like the idiots here who will wait till December and then complain there are no slots available. You can book for a December 30 slot right the phuck now. You don't have to wait till December 29 to book!!!! Most of you are still waiting for I-20's, i got my visa even before spring deadline applications were closed. In September (The interview at the embassy was well ordered because they had enough time to talk to everyone) The people denied had several problems such as not knowing why they wanted to go to the US and just being plain ignorant. |

Anyone that needs advice on how to get a scholarship (full tuition) against Fall 2010, should tell me and I will post a very good information here that you can follow and also how to go about it. suxes2005: Judging from your posts and how you are all over this forum, you are the one phucking yourself. It is obvious no country will grant you a visa. Didn't i just see you on the Sweden forum? |

Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by wems002: 1:50pm On Oct 12, 2009 |
@ netotse You have a very good point about squashing the beef but i expect Phunk NL, to advice people in a more polite way because i do not see what it takes to do that. A very good example are people like gongo_so and A_town and so many others. We had good stories to tell at the end of the day we should just try to be matured even if our ages try to break us, people are not here to see beef like these rather to acquire knowledge, you may think you know much but were your knowledge stops that is were another person starts from. Well i don't have time for beef on this forum, but i demand an apology from Phunk NL, then we would be cool about things you can buzz me on my yahoo IM, wems002. @ Phunk NL You have not followed our protocol of posting questions you were asked at the embassy, we expect you to do that and i demand an apology from you. @ suxes Guy you need to get your bearings right, you are really all over the place, stop looking for schools with low tuition now why not work hard like Phunk NL to get a scholarship last time i checked you have not written your SAT. |

Okay i will stop the bashing but i don't owe anyone any apology. Embassy Interview : Officer : Goodmorning Me : Hello, how are you doing. Officer : fine thank you. Officer : You are going to "Princeton" Me : Yes Officer : Thats a very good school. Me : Yes Officer : Why this major and why Princeton Me : Its one of the best schools for my program and its also one of the best schools in the U.S Officer : Which other schools did you apply to and why Princeton over them Me : Princeton was the only one that offered me full scholar. I applied to MIT,IIT, and UT Austin Officer : I see you have a scholarship. What exams did you take Me : I presented my SAT, SAT II, and A-levels and Toefl. Officer : Okay, your visa will be ready on Friday Officer : I noticed your resumption date is on January ***, make sure you don't leave until a max of one month before that date if you don't want immigration problems. Me : Thank you, have a good day. I did not have to show financial documents because of the scholarship. Doesn't mean i didn't take it along sha. |

I have to say i am impressed, you got a very good portfolio and fluent from what i saw in your post. don't they check your informations i mean the other form you fill like the i-165 and the others. |
Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by phuckNL: 6:04am On Oct 13, 2009 |
^^^^^ All the forms are checked before they start asking the questions. The bar code on the ds 156 makes it easy for them to get your information. They just scan the bar-code and voila, they have all the information you typed in. They only need to just skim over your additional forms like the 157 and 158. |
