HungerBAD:that is not true. in civilised world, negotiation is never an option not even in ordinary kidnapping. don't write a damn because your saviour pmb say so. negotiation means succumbing. are you negotiating the sovereignty of Nigeria or abolition of western education? 2 Likes |

If this negotiation story is true, it means I have been right all along. First its dumb to negotiate with BH cos such negotiation will only make them king as they will be getting fat salaries to keep their guns locked and if this negotiation goes well, other terror group will rise again as a method of getting recognition. You know the contagious effect na. Ok if negotiation goes according to BH desire, nigeria will be islamise as PMB political tool was religion. Don't forget PMB during one of his campaign in 2001 vowed not to stop till he islamise nigeria. This is a means to fulfil that promise. By negotiating with BH who wants just one thing, ISLAMIZATION OF NIGERIA. |

agarawu23: What's the basis for negotiations please? Are we to turn Nigeria into an Islamic state? Because that's boko haram's sole purpose. |

Re: Boko Haram: “We Are Open To Negotiations” – FG by francizy(m): 9:03am On Jul 04, 2015 |
agarawu23: Simple question, what is the basis for negotiation? Boko haram wants an Islamic state and they have killed over 13,000 people for that, so what are we negotiating? How do you negotiate with devils and demons? Do you give them a part on the back or what? They don't deserve to be living among humans. Buhari was supposed to relocate people outside the affected areas and then face them head on but rather in just one month and without any meaningful attack on boko haram, he has already chickened out and now calling for negotiations. What a president! ![]() |

Re: Boko Haram: “We Are Open To Negotiations” – FG by pippimp(m): 9:11am On Jul 04, 2015 |
HungerBAD: America in principle do not negotiate with terrorist. Reason being that once you start doing it then it's open season for all Americans. But, that being said they will negotiate a prisoner exchange. No harm in that. The difference between that and what the Nigerian government is considering is one is negotiating prisoner exchange and one wants to negotiate political and religious change. You don't want to do the latter. If you understand why BH exists then you'll know what the'll ask for. America would never do that. Obasanjo tried that and it is burning us till today. |

It's now I know that you are all hypocrites this is the same government that nearly crucified the former president when he was trying to negotiate with BH. But know, it's the right thing to do. Anyway am not surprised cause Alhaji Lai Muhammed said u guys will negotiate with the real BH. |

While I won't (with my limited intel) support negotiating with BH/ISWAP for what they represent, OTOH, most comments on here about how xyz doesn't negotiate with terrorists is annoying -- fxck it, they do, yes, all the time; even arm them when convenient! It's one thing to state your opinion as what it is: an 'opinion', but when you state your 'opinions' as fact/law, that is some whole 'nother level of st00pid. I posted this article earlier https://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/2007-01-01/negotiating-terrorists but the problem with this generation is, everyone just wants to say something regardless if it's true, false, wise, or f00lish. 2 Likes |

HungerBAD: Unfortunately , you are wrong , since the advent of ideological/religious terrorism , no nation has ever successfully resolved extremist conflict through negotiation and that is because of one reason: terrorist never shift their grounds ad they always ask for more. Except Nigeria is ready to be declared an Islamic caliphate , negotiating won't work. |

If I didn't have my loved ones in NIGERIA, I'd be laughing at all those people who voted buhari Into power with propaganda. GeJ crime was being from a minority group. As long as I've been an adult, he's been the best president I've known so far. APC just wouldn't let anything good he did come to light. Always exaggerating his faults and making noise up and down. Ngwanu. Osetiala. Make Una crush Boko haram under the feet of your iron-God General. The promises aren't easy to keep now are they? Liars and propagandists Mtchew. |
