Olabami001: Go for a transformerless inverter,is more healthy for your 45ah battery than ups |

Olabami001: Na suoer cos am with portable very affordable inverter. Get a small 500w type. N.B Dont run it with fan or coil embedded appliances. Check jumia for prices 7k or there about Or buy ceepro pure sine wave of 600w and run it with all appliances. Suoer is modified sine wave 1 Like |

Olabami001: dollarnaira: I agree with @dollarnaira since it's a small setup a transformerless inverter will go a long way, buy u sha know u need an external charger Abi? On options of inverter, I have never been a fan of modified sine wave inverters, so I'll advise u go the pure sine wave route a d have rest of mind from the start. Apart from options given above you could also get decent pure sine wave inverters from Jumia, u can get something in the category of 1.5kva for about 20k+ total, just do ur due diligence...... Cheers |

Lovelynife: I have the first one of 1500w( true capacity is 700w) and it's pure sine wave, I haven't tested the blue one so I can't say. But worse case scenario u can return it if it doesn't meet the specs and collect ur refund, minus shipping fees oh... |

Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by donblanco: 7:33am On Nov 13, 2020 |
Hi the Gurus in the house, please i need your guide with the following,i use a 200ah tubular battery with a 1000w msw standalone inverter and a standalone charger while my watt load is approximately 200w max between 8am-4pm(i do have phcn light during the day so its not like i drain the battery i never go below 12.1v) but drop to about 60watts load in the evening. I would like to know what number of solar panels and in what order should i get to charge my battery fully while also running my gadgets 8am-4pm and also the range of charge controller to use keeping in mind that additions can be made in future to the panels. I will really be grateful for your inputs and also suggestions on types to get. Thanks |

saint2ace:thanks. I checked to order now but here is the screenshot of review I got. how true is the 400w?
|
Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by saint2ace(m): 11:50am On Nov 13, 2020 |
Lovelynife: I'm actually the one who wrote the last review there and that was immediately I bought the unit, but with use I've seen it does more than 400w but like I said the max u can push it is 700w that's plus surge. But if u're going to be using a lot of load I would suggest you get a transformer based inverter that would handle surge and spikes better. I use mine for 2 TVs, 4fans, about 8 11w bulbs, 2 laptops and charging for phones, note this is my max. So check ur load and find out what works for you.... Cheers |

Olabami001:if you run small load contact me for this in the attached picture, it's very small and portable and energy efficient and it's pure sine wave

remi2good: I am interested too. How do I contact you? |
Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by saint2ace(m): 3:08pm On Nov 13, 2020 |
remi2good: Be careful with this particular inverter, the surge handling capacity is pretty low, so only use with load without surge capacity. And yes it's pure sine wave..... Cheers |

donblanco: Your story is a bit confusing.. You said you have nepa light btw 8am and 4pm, if so you dont need solar, as thats the window for solar as well |
Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by Lovelynife(m): 5:50pm On Nov 13, 2020 |
saint2ace:75w nasco led tv,1 or 2 ceiling fan, and thinking of changing my bulb to 5w or 10w (2-3) and finally for charging phones. That's all |
Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by donblanco: 6:34pm On Nov 13, 2020 |
earthrealm: I mean I don't drain it all from 8-4 , sometimes phcn do come on so I can recharge but it's not all the time phcn do on their light so I have to off it once it gets to 12.1v thats y I want to go solar during that time so I won't worry of closing before 4. Thanks and your input is welcome |

Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by remi2good: 7:21pm On Nov 13, 2020 |
saint2ace:that was why I said I if he uses small load, and I normally test run before I advertise, I've test run one of this in my commercial saloon and it carried everything smoothly throughout the day, thou everything I use are energy efficient. |
