Way back in 2006, I started my M.Sc in The University of Ibadan. I was new to the environment and lived off campus. One day, as I was approaching Taxes going towards PG school, I saw a taxi leave the park so entered the next one. I was the first person. The driver said something that sounded like 'drop' looking in my direction. I said yes and the man moved with me alone in the cab! I was wandering why I should be the only passanger in the cab. We got to PG school, I gave a fifty naira note to him and he zoomed off shouting gate, gate as others moved in. It was then I realized that I just ' chattered' a cab! My eye red but because people were there, I left almost 'empty'. My 40 naira, gone. |
