how can i get a a large concentration of construction companies office... like where are they concentrated. i would like to visit and tender my cv.

I am presently a safety officer here and would like to switch companies.

I can try abu dhabi and dubai..anywhere infact but i would like to know where they are ...just like dubai healthcare city, business village etc...

i dunno much about the job stratosphere here. but i think nurses first den extremely qualified people who r relevant to the business and daily happenings in UAE. Like if you really want a good job you need to be qualified. the indians are everywhere and then the filipinos. plus nigerians av a bad rap here so u can see what u are up against when coming here. i think for dubizzle users they should focus on sales and nursing there but beware so many indians here are running fake job scams and they hv palatable formats that will mk u jonz.

if u r very good in IT then u can go to Dubai oasis or is it silicon oasis and try..dunno d exact name of the place but its a central hub for IT

that is not exactly supposed to be...if u want to apply for visa for a friend you are required to place a cash deposit of 100k or more such that if the person who came in does not leave the fee is taken as penalty. secondly you need not do visa for strangers no matter how much the person promises or no matter if the person is recommended by a friend who vouches for him/her.

The problem is that too may people get a visa through a friend, then do not exit on time.
The friend has to explain this to officials and has a fine to pay.

I understand every point you made sir. Makes you feel like just packing your bags and leave really most times. The YouTube isn't as easy as it sounds because you will need the foundation knowledge to even know what to search for. There's also a sequence of learning the software and the lectures/training would guide you in a way through that. You will find tons of videos on YouTube but if you can afford it, it's better to go for the training also. I don't know about SAGE ERP but I'm very sure of the prospects of SAP in these parts. The person I know about was doing something related to supply chain management with it at the time. You can also check job sites in the middle east to even see the salaries range for these positions. Yes he did...he used to complain of nothing to really spend the money in his location.

In UAE if you want to be a security guard you must have DPS license, nurse you must have DHA,HAAD,MOL, safety Nebosh, ticketing agent IATA....so what i am trying to say is if you are privileged to get a job in UAE you can build yourself by accumulating certificates and licenses. you must be certain the license or professional certificate is relevant to you and in line with your goals as well as that it will push u up the ladder.

to me i foresee 2016-2020 as very interesting period in the history of UAE. I believe there will be jobs...a lot of of them because UAE will want to make noise globally....

Hotel reservation is one, but I think the core ones are: your travel history OR a refundable $1500 cash deposit OR your salary slip for 6months and bank statement, OR your company sponsor letter and bank statement. others are: confirmed ticket from emirate, a letter of invitation from a relative or friend, company or any organisation in dubai. If you have all these handy, you are good2go with less than 50k for dubai 3months single entry visa.

Yes ma'am. Wish I could be of help beyond this. If he was in Qatar with that, it would have been a sealed deal. That's why I asked him to just try if they can consider him there. Something I've noticed over time is that wages are quite lower in U.A.E compared to Qatar. Some of the companies from U.A.E come here with that kind of plan but I don't miss the chance to tell them to their face that we play by different rules here in Qatar.

By the way, for anyone in these parts or planning to come down, you can start taking intensive trainings in Project Management. If you can have 25%-30% of how to use Primavera P6 software, you will be smiling to the bank soon

You can try and apply from Nigeria but the thing is how will your level of competence be tested by the company before they go through all the process of visa application, etc which isn't easy if I may add?

Guys I need some pointers to transporting around. Just got to know Deira is the bubbling part and I'll have to cross the creek to get there.


I think I'll just settle for the malls and beach, but I need advice on mode of transportation. Desert safari would be nice too but 'food wey sweet nko'. I'm very familiar with the antics of those taxi drivers and new tourist. I'm not asking to be baby fed, just little tips and tricks to move around while maximizing the sightseeing opportunity.

Get a metro card and map. with that you can move cheaply through all the major malls and using the tram will take you to some of the beaches and Dubai Marina.
