I got this job through prayer, preparation and plan, my people if you believe , you can make it. No agent fee paid it was just favour and grace that made me to be employed in a blue chip company. that is the employment visa but be sure you know What you are getting into before accepting such offer. I'd suggest you come first n search for jobs.

please bro, have got this question.. though i have National Diploma but thinking of using just my secondary school certificates (i.e waec & neco).. please, what sorta job you think i can apply for and be considered for? and do they issue employment visa base on petty/menial jobs.. and like how many days/months you think i can secure a job with that my certificate?thanks

It doesn't come easily and quickly Like that, and there are some negative twists attached to most of these Direct employment deals when its not a professional type.

Secondly, Direct Employment visas are of two types. The professional and the labour(contract) types.

The professional type is for career professionals, say Nurses, doctors, Teachers, Engineers and other economic meaningful careers like that. This type is done when a UAE registered company or organisation(s) is bringing an expertriate from outside the UAE into the UAE.
The company deals directly with applicant irrespective of distance. The applicant sends his/credentials online, interview is done online.

When the applicant is chosen after the online interview, the terms and condition of the job is made known to the applicant.

The labour Employment visa type has lots of twist to it. Agents are mostly involved, and they wouldnt tell you the true terms and conditions of the job.

This type of employment, the pay is low, at times it used to be very ridiculous depending on the organisation involved. And the conditions attached to such jobs are heart breaking, the agents linking you to such deal will not tell you these things. They will hype the salary and work conditions to you.

They will not tell you that you will have to work with the company that brought you into the UAE for 2 years or so.

Yes, the company will provide the visa for you to come over but its not free! When you start to work, the company will deduct it from your salary.

Its better which ever means you are going to use to job hunt in the UAE, you should know the important details before going.

'@Macjireh, 'Don't worry yourself about the BTA stuff', if you want, go with $100 BTA, as long as you could pass through our MMA - Airport terminal. When you get to the UAE, you would understand the rhythm of the music there is different from that in Benin.

Niaja to The UAE is not 'Benin to Lagos' Movie.

You wouldn't tell us that you didn't read when @lovere wrote he/she spends minimum of 60+ AED daily for job hunting.
