With the ban on issuance of visa to Bangladesh citizens in UAE. More opportunities are open to Africans. But the opportunities are open to those who have the skills and the right information. My advice to Nigerians is to be technically equip themselves before coming here.
Bengalis use to dominate these technical jobs but now Africans are taking over the task.

1. 90% of everyone here does that 1B, get yourself a reliable Visa Agency in Nigeria
2. you can never stay in an hotel while job hunting, you look for shared accommodation/ bed space and that can go for 400/2000aed depending on taste and population.
3. cost of living is high you pay for as 3500aed for a studio apartment and if you are lucky you get a job that comes with accommodation.
4. i dont think this Thread allows that but others can shed light on that, and besides this is a faceless forum.
5. sure you can some for salary purpose some for financial purpose for loans and the rest.
6. UAE is an Arabs world and at the same time Tourist centre, some clothings are Prohibited in some environs i.e Masjid and the rest, but anything from That is ok.. others may shed light on it too.

2. Get a bedspace, or stay in hotel or wit any friend; your pocket would determine.
3. Rent goes as low as 550aed to infinity depending on number of occupants and location. hotel minimum 100aed per night.

5. Yes once you got a Reasonable job you can get an account, money exchange in Deira.

By doing so they were reducing the incarcerated population and the need to take care of them as well as a taking a cut from the salary of the laborers.

2- Bangladesh did not back up Dubai's candidacy for the Expo 2020.

You are right other African countries are being more favoured because of our bad reputation. I know about six Ugandans guys who came in some weeks back with direct employment with good job offer.

UAE is making huge money from Nigerians (celebrities, business men & politicians) therefore it is nearly impossible for them to ban Nigeria visa.

Security salary starts from 1800 and above. I know someone who's receiving 2500 + accommodation + feeding + transportation. Remember It's usually 12hrs job of which most times​ you will be standing. Hope it's not outdoor job, remember UAE weather, the sun fit fry akamu
